Thanks for posting....deep crystal wonder what the cost is I’ve seen it on eBay where some Asian seller where selling it out of Malaysia but was expensive with shipping. I would like to see Meguiars make a similar product to Adams spray coating solvent based

The UDos is gonna bring rotary back from endangered species imagine buzzing a hood quick with a purple wool 5 or 6 inch and 3D one then switching it to orbital 12mm or 15 mm with a rupes yellow and 3D one won’t even have to pack a lunch.

I'm obviously not in the marketing business but Meg's using Deep Crystal for it's new coating product doesn't sound like a great idea IMO. Deep Crystal is associated with products like "hand rubbed caranuba" and the people that gravitate towards towards those products aren't the ones who are willing to try something new, you've seen them at carshow, you know, the ones wearing satin jackets and have directors chairs behind their cars.

No PBMG, CarPro, Optimum, or Gyeon booths at SEMA? Is this some new trend?

From what I hear it is the expense of the booth, the location and travel.

^^^Not always the case, IMO.

Meguiar’s having a Coating is not some
new product offering to the Detailing World.


•Remember back in the 2011-2012 time frame
when Meguiar’s marketed/sold their initial
“Deep Crystal Coating” rendition (M188) to the
folks on the other side of the Pacific Ocean?

•We even had numerous discussions on this

I thought it was going to be a Mark II Nano. But they are marketing it as a edge sander. It was going to be a toss up for me between the PXE 80 and the Q Mag. But if this is really all the Q Mag is. It’s made my decision a lot easier.

I'm curious what the different variants of the Scangrip based lights will cost compared to the actual Scangrip lights.

If the Megs coating is rated for around 2 years like almost every other coating then it'll be worth a try.

And we're still waiting on a direct iBrid competitor from Griot's.

I am curiously waiting for RUPES UNO PRIME+PROTECT. It have a similar concept to CARPRO Essence. Protection as a final polish & LSP is up to 12 months.

I am also excited for RUPES UNO PROTECT, their own version of an AIO.

In lieu of RUPES entire polishing system, I can’t wait to try these.
