We got a done deal on our 2008 Coupe today, the order won’t be sent in till 3 Jan 08 but the deal is signed and sealed.

We got the

3LT Package
6 Speed Auto With Paddle Shift

Savings of 6725.45

He tried to low ball my trade in so we said we would do a cash down and sell the Mini Cooper ourself. He had kinda a deer in the headlights look but he agreed to the sale.

We are going to try to do a Last week of March Museum pickup and maybe a trip through Florida!!!
 
I got 5k off of mine ordered/shipped to the home on a 52K tag when C6 (with Z51 Package) released in 05.

Even at the price they quoted dealer is still making money on your deal and gets the 3% GM holdback for nothing as car wont sit on lot.

congrats on the new vette. You might want to look into getting the front end ""clear bra"" it will help alot.

Oh yes I know he making money but he was planning to make more off the low ball trade in offer. He is also building up points toward Z06's which he sells more of then standard Vettes.

That was kick around quite a bit but we decided that we have couple hot rods with the loud exhaust so decided against the NPP. Also this one will see lots of open road and highway time.

If you end up changing your mind, there is a guy that makes the NPP system retrofittable to any C6 that doesn't have it. I have heard the NPP mufflers and I think they sound better than my Corsa Extremes or the B&Bs I had before and when I get my longtubes installed, it sure would be great to go from quiet to loud with the push of a button (there are several exhaust controllers that allow you to open and close the valves when you want.) These cars are great for road trips. You'll have to look into attending the Eureka Springs, Arkansas annual Corvette Rally. It's a blast and a really fun drive with plenty of beautiful scenery.

We are thinking of the Eureka Springs this year, in the past I had to work but I’m semi-retired now (work a lot less) but probably won’t bring the C6. I have also thought about Corvette on the Rookies would be fun. We will probably leave this one bone stock, we have other car projects planned that will be require lots of time and money.
