We live on a dirt road and trash our mats. DP Mat Cleaner & Protectant advertises a spray on and wipe off application. No hose? I like that. Sometimes I have time to remove the mat and use a hose and other times I simply do not.

Products used

DP Mat Cleaner Protectant- DP Floor Mat Cleaner & Protectant
Tuff Shine tire brush- TUF SHINE Tire Brush

Multi use grey micro fiber-https://www.autogeek.net/storm-gray-6pack.html

Every weekend this is the condition of the mat in my wife's Ford Fusion

Mat & Pedals liberally sprayed. ***The pedals after drying were not slippery in the least bit. I did my due diligence and checked. ***

Mat finished. Pic taken 20 minutes after to make sure it was dry to give an accurate representation. The driver side has heavy wear so it does not look that great. Clean but it is worn. I love weather techs but they are no match for the heal of a ladies shoe

To be fair to the product I took a finished pic of the passenger side mat as it is not as worn as the driver side. It was not as dirty (pretty close though). I did not scrub it. Sprayed and wiped dry.

Summary- I think this is a winner. Living in a dirt road subdivision I am always looking for an easy and quick way to clean mat's. This took no longer than 10 minutes with pictures. I may have found it in DP Floor Mat Cleaner and Protectant. For $9 a bottle....NO BRAINER in my book

Great review. I agree that the DP Floor Mat Cleaner and Protectant is a fantastic product. You really can't beat it for the price. If you have Weathertechs that have wear marks from shoes then there is not much you will be able to do to make them look better. This product cleans well and leaves that mat with the perfect matte finish.

I picked some of this up during the 50% off sale and used it the other day on my Husky floor mats. I usually just use Meguiars D143 to clean them and it works fine. Didn't see a difference in using the wheel and tire cleaner on them versus this dedicated floor mat cleaner.

Thanks. Yes, with the weather techs the "de laminate" with heavy use. Womens heels are like grinding a screw driver side to side on the mat. The only thing that makes them looks half decent at that point are products that make the mat a little slick for my liking

Nice review. I also like this product.

Pat there is a way to help those faded wear marks. Check the following out. I have tried it and it works great in conjunction with the DP mat cleaner.

An Alternative To Weathertech Dressing

Thanks & thanks for the link. I will definitely look into this.

Nice review!

Thank you. Members are really talented with their reviews. I have a ways to go but I do learn alot here.

D143..never thought of this. Non acid would actually be a safe application.
