11 year Anniversary at Autogeek

Congratulations on a life well lived and lots of life yet to be lived! As Confucius said, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” and it appears you choose the right one.

As Confucius said, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” and it appears you choose the right one.

I believe he also said "He who fart in church sit in own pew".

But, I could be mistaken.......... ;)

I love my job. When people ask me what I do for a living, I usually say,

I show people how to remove swirls

And I'd say most people don't get it.

It's probably a good thing that you explain it further to them ... otherwise they might associate "removing swirls" with something like bathroom janitorial work. :D

Seriously, congrats on the anniversary and much thanks for all that you do for the detailing community ! :thankyousign:

Congratulations on 11 years Mike! I genuinely appreciate the effort and time you put in to helping all of us weekend warriors, semi-pro's, and professional detailers. Anyone can be a teacher, but it takes someone invested in a craft, and invested in people to actually "teach". Keep up the great work!

Congrats on the anniversary Mike!

I truly appreciate your passion to help everyone learn the craft of detailing cars and to be a real person that everyone can relate to...thank you.

Congrats mike, when I think of auto geek Mike Phillips is always in that picture, you have always explained things very thoroughly and extremely helpful.

I remember 7 years ago being on here and it was always so nice to receive help and ask questions.

Its really something when people actually enjoy what they do for a living and it shows.

Thank you sir!

Congrats and THANKS Mike!

Over the years I have spent hundreds of hours reading, learning and trying new products.

Enjoy the pool!

Mike I been asking my inner self if I made a mistake for choosing auto detail. Here’s my answer

Thank you sir!

Congrats and thank you for all you do.

I look forward to visiting the AG forum daily! Reading your post are a main reason. While I may be a seasoned detailer, I always am trying to learn new techniques and try different products.... the forum is a valuable tool for this.

Also would like to thank AG for keeping this forum running so well. It’s a great place to be a member. Some truly great people here on AGO!!!

Thanks for the kind words Jim. I appreciate all your positive contributions to this forum.

As for learning, I use the below term to describe myself.

Perpetual Student

There's so much new technology being introduced so fast the only way to stay up to speed is to always be learning and open to new ideas and new products.

Congrats Mike..Hope you have many more years doing what you do best.

While Bruno may be the face behind Ivan Karstuf (AG Logo), Mike Phillips has become a true mentor for all Forum members and AG training classes.

Being an alumni of the detailing classes, it has been a great pleasure to receive top notch training as well as READING the huge number of shared article you have recorded in auto detailing history.

11-years and counting, and yes all current and future AG customers are looking forward to another 11-years.

Enjoy life and keep doing what you are doing!

Thanks Kirby.

It's been a genuine pleasure meeting you at the Roadshow Class I taught at Griot's in Tacoma, Washington and then working with you at all of the other classes and events you've attended since that first class.
