I lost one of the bolts to my flex 3403. This is a M8x16mm Allen head bolt that holds the handle onto the machine. I am able to match up a bolt generically from the hardware store but the head is too thick and sticks out past the plastic handle. It could lead to a nasty scratch if I am not paying attention to it full time.
Any source for original bolt and parts would be appreciated.
Thanks

I'm guessing that what you were looking at at the hardware store was a socket head cap screw.

Examples - McMaster-Carr

Instead, look for a round head ak "button" head.

I doubt a flat head would work as it requires a countersink.

call ---> Powerhouse Distributing in Omaha, NE. they are an authorized flex tools repair facility and have been since the beginning...

57Rambler & Spazz, Thanks for the links
Powerhouse distributing is the parts source for Flex it seems. They have a $10.99 flat rate shipping fee, which is generally fair enough but doesn't make sense for a .95 bolt.
I will pursue the other links and see.

Just to be clear, you have the old FLEX 3403 ROTARY Polisher?

This one I wrote a review for back in 2010?
