3D speed and pads

Im gonna be detailing my 2019 charger this week, has some swirls and I'm gonna use 3d speed. Anybody have any idea how the clear is on this car should I go orange, white, or green LC pads. And will my nano sponge be enough or should I iron x? I do not have Iron X.

and do you think I need a 3inch pad for tough to reach areas? Im more of a weekend warrior, not doing this to make money.

-Speed and white LC pads is my go to for all my AIO jobs. Won't get everything, but'll it pop nice.

What size pads do you currently have? If you have 5.5 pads already you'd probably be fine with just using them. Although it never hurts to have a backup plan

I just bought the 3d speed and a 5 inch plate. Thats all I have so far so Im trying to decide what pads to use. After I finish 1 panel is it a must to clean pad for the next panel? I saw that you can just put pad on mf towel and start it on low speed to do quick clean.

Always do a test spot with your least-aggressive pad first, and go from there.

That said, my Ram truck, my 2 buddies Ram's, my wife's Jeep Wrangler, and a co-workers Challenger all have medium/hard clear coat. Every vehicle is different though, and making an assumption is the wrong way to start.

I have found on my Ram that the Speed works best with the LC Orange Flats.

Also, having a 3" set up is helpful. I converted my first polisher (PC) to a 3" machine.

I wouldn't use a pad on more than one panel, but if you must........ Use a TERRY cloth towel for the "Clean on the Fly" method that Mike P teaches.

Also, it would be a great idea to get a pad cleaning brush. That works better than the terry cloth.
