Two great Netflix series

May I suggest something in the middle for those who have to watch TV with a Chick Flick lover - The Queens Gambit.

It has language. But the story line is good without being too mushy. And, It's only one season. So, if one of two doesn't like it, it will be over before you know it.

will watch it....watching the Crown now...which is good also ...LOL It must be 5 o'clock some where...need a good drink LOL

Narcos is about Pablo Escobar and the Columbian cartels during the 80's & 90's

Narcos Mexico is about Felix Gallardo and the Mexican cartels during the 80's & 90's

I hate sub-titles.

RE: Great; and, Netflix.

•In retrospect:
-I should’ve realized that something
was noticeably incongruous about
this pairing from the start.

Bob

As a chick, I would pass over anything named "Heartland".... :bolt:

May I suggest Cobra Kai as an excellent series on Netflix!
And season 3 will be coming out beginning of January Im the MAN

LOL what about Grace and Frankie....just finished watching 6 seasons....what's Cobra Kai about

Cobra Kai is really good. And Narco’s was great also (only minor subtitles). Currently watching Lillehammer. Interesting show. Mob boss turns rat. Goes into witness protection in Norway. Stars Steven Van Zandt (Silvio from Sopranos)

The best series for me on Netflix is Peaky Blinders

I couldn’t get into Peaky Blinders.

Off Netflix I’m watching Fargo on Hulu right now.

Ok all of you who hate chick movies on Netflix, try Criminal Minds...it has sex....cursing...killing...and 12 seasons....LOL enjoy

RE: being retired/watching Netflix

•Is retirement a reward for a lifetime
of hard work; or, a punishment?

{Sometimes the line gets blurred.}

Bob

I can assure you from my perspective being retired is certainly not any kind of punishment in the least.

I can do whatever I want, whenever I want, or even nothing at all if I want. I'm doing the latter right now.

The wife going her own separate way several years ago doesn't hurt either :D
