Anyone like the Beatles? 1966 Ferrari 275 GTS - George Harrison's Personal Car

Agreed. From the photos it looks very clear

I have more before and after pictures I'll share when I do the full step-by-step write-up.

It's dramatically better but not perfect. But here's the deal. Part of being a wise detailer is knowing your limits and the limits of the thing you're working on.

This back flexible plastic window is 55-years old. I've seen flexible plastic windows a lot NEWER than this SPLIT or CRACK when pushed on too hard. Instead of stretching, (like the plastic will do when new), it will simply split apart. Once the plastic splits apart it's game over. The only functional repair is to replace it. The canvas top is also 55-years old. Trying to take it apart at the stitching around the window would open a can of worms.

I'm not going to be the detailer that cracks the flexible back window on George Harrison's 1966 Ferrari 275 GTS

Like the old saying,

Something's got to give...

One thing I thing people that have been detailing for a long time bring to the table - experience. Sometimes it's just as important to know what NOT to do as it is to know simply how to do it.

Thanks Mike, that’s great advice in really any service or sales business.

Is this Ferrari chassis #08621 ?

No. It's Ferrari Chassis #08268

Ferrari Chassis #08621 has a nice write-up here,

This one is the above's kissing cousin to the one I detailed except the current owner tracked down the correct wheels and had them installed.
