Any Ford F150 Experts?

I'm testing out some new products for reviews on this old 2-door Ford. It's kind of special.

It has a Whipple Supercharger and it's 4-wheel drive. It's also incredibly FAST!

Do we have any Ford F150 experts that can share the backstory on these Ford models?

Ace is right, Certainly a dealer creation. Like a Mr Norms 440 Dart, or a Yenko Camaro. Or even a Nickey Chevrolet package

Might even been done by a tuner shop and not a dealership. Hard to nail it down when there are lots of players in the market.

Here's a couple of pictures of the engine compartment...

What I think is interesting is it's 4-Wheel Drive and lowered, not raised. Not like Monster Truck 4-wheel drive but stealthy. I've seen this make a few passes on the street and this thing flat out gets it on.

Needs a little help in the aesthetics department...

The lowering vs lifting is probably comes down to a difference in mission. Based on what you say about the way the truck accelerates, it's probably a good thing to get the center of gravity as low to the ground as possible! It belongs on a drag strip or a runway doing high speed runs vs splashing its way around a swamp. 4WD will get it off the line much faster. The idea of this trunk seems similar to the GMC Syclone and Typhoon vehicles of the '80's.

The one thing I also noticed is the brakes look to be stock. When you put that much power behind a vehicle, its usually a good idea to improve the stopping power and heat management of the brakes.

Is that big box in the engine to the left of the coolant expansion resivoir a second fluid tank for a air/water intercooler or maybe a methenol or water injection system?

Probably someone making a modern version of the F-150 SVT Lightning from the late 90s/early 2000s. That was a fast truck then, this is probably fast now.

Any interior pictures? This could be frankenstien conversion made to look new. The wheel arches look way oversized for the wheels which appear bigger than stocks.

What I find strange is that it branded as a Limited, yet has plastic mirror housings and rear door window opening trim. Plus, Ford does not make a Limited regular cab.

That has to be a dealer/speed shop creation as stated above. No way that is Factory.

A 5.0 Coyote can make 700+ HP with a whipple and the proper tune, so I have no doubt it is FAST! Also, as PaulMys already pointed out, Limited is not available in regular cab, XLT is the highest trim for Reg cab. And you can’t get a V8 in the limited, only the 3.5L twin turbo ecoboost, with 2019+ models having the same motor as the Raptor, 450 HP, 510 lbs of torque.

My first thoughts were a Roush Nitemare. Roush is a tuner known for their mustangs. You can buy a Roush Mustang or Nitemare from authorized dealers and still have the after market warranty.

The are not a in house connected company like shelby who produces the GT350 and 500.

The Nitemare comes in 4x4, lowered and super charged.

No Roush badging in truck or engine. Also Roush uses a Roots style blower and Whipple is a screw type

My best guess is either previous dealer or owner built this car.

Easy to lower a 4x4 add some 22’s with sticky tires. I’m sure the whipple is a bolt on kit if the engine is a 5.0 as their are a ton of bolt on kits for the 5.0 mustang.

Kong!

Did Z1 on this beast last fall. This is factory supercharged F150. In first pic you’ll see supercharged on side. Second pic shows that it has a coyote engine!!

its just a short bed 2 door F150 someone put a blower on. Its not factory. And its not a Limited. He put those emblems on it. Its the lightest F150 and popular to make fast being its aluminum

Lebanon Ford had the best deals in the country on those- they specialize in the supercharged model

I live close to them and have bought 2 Mustangs from them. They mod a lot of cars and trucks.
