Ok I have a question about the ibrid:

Does this have a variable speed trigger? Do I need a variable speed trigger? I know the mark 3 has a variable speed trigger and I like the fact that I can pull the trigger a little and have it rotate slower although that probably isnt saying much.
I think the new adams one has a variable speed trigger.

The trigger is NOT variable speed.

Not really a issue with the tool imo...

The corollary to that is if you pull the trigger meaning to go slow but it goes faster than you want, well, you’d wish you had a speed setting and not a variable speed trigger. :) I bought the Milwaukee M12 polisher as an extra tool and hate the variable speed trigger as I’d rather it go a constant speed. Then again we’re all different and it isn’t like this is a yes/no answer. :)

True that! I only have a meguiars mt300 and rupes mark 3 and a griots g8 to base things off of and the rupes feels a lot better when i pull the trigger and feels like there is more control but the rupes is probably like a porsche and the meguiars a fiat so maybe not fair to compare the 2.

Call me crazy but I am considering buying the rupes and adams.
