I never detailed my wife's suv for some reason ...she has a 2018 Mercedes suv garage kept...the paint is in great shape....this is my plan...

wash with wolfgang uber sio2 wash
clay
BF one step
BF sio2 spray sealant
Duragloss 253 tire dressing

if anyone has any suggestions let me know
 
Good plan….good basic steps….It will benefit you to use a random orbital for the one step polish and a medium pad if possible…
 
I wouldn't waste your WG Uber Si02 for the initial wash because you will be claying all of the protection off right afterward. I'd just use a good soap, then clay.

Use your WG Si02 for all the washes after correcting..... :)
 
You can just wash the car with Dawn dishwashing detergent, as you’re going to follow with the polish which will actually clean the surface. No need for you to go buy another car wash. For this one time situation, Dawn will work fine.
 
I agree on not wasting your Si02 soap as prep wash. As others have said, save it for your maintenance washes.

Agreed. Also, would it not be wise to use the uber sio2 wash maybe every other or every third wash? That stuffs not cheap from what i see, and im guessing it lasts up to a month?

In-between those washes use something like 3d pink car soap, as it doesn't contain any protection. Its what i do with griots wash and coat. Just my 2cents :xyxthumbs:

Yes get a good basic soap like Meguiars Hyperwash or Optimum Car Wash.

Also even though garaged if your gonna go through all the steps, I’d hit it with an iron remover.

CarPro Iron X or Blackfire Iron remover

Thanks everyone for there suggestions....LOL I used Dawn on my car before I coated it and wow...I thought I would be castrated LOL
 
I wanted to use dawn too but was told only to use it on dishes

LOL that"s what they told me....BUT their are members here that use Dawn in certain detailing....go figure
