I wanted something more durable and permanent. I was going to use Cquartz Dlux or Solution Finish, but easy availability lead me to the Griot's. All of the aforementioned products are great, so this isn't a comparison.

I cleaned the car, then wiped the plastic trim with a 50/50 IPA mix.

Looks good. I was curious about the product. How is the BISON doing?

I love it. Only has a little over 3k miles on it. Took it off-road this weekend. Very happy with it.

WOW. That is new! OK. Your TunaFresh over at Colorado FANS. Do you also belong to ZR2 ZONE?

So overall were you happy with the wipes and recommend them? My girlfriend's mom just got a Mazda CX-30 so I was considering these (probably the non-Griot's branded Cerakote wipes).

100% recommend them. Readily available, inexpensive. Just make sure the plastic is extremely clean before application. Also, if you get the Cerakote brand, I'd go with the Satin finish. The Griot's version (made by Cerakote for Griot's) is the glossy.

I got tired of dealing with water/silicone based exterior trim "dressings". Just not worth the hassle and they wash off far too easily.

I used the Cerakote, I didn’t say glossy or satin on bag. Did a quick search and couldn’t find a satin kit online or their site.

Liked the look and ease of use.

Same here.

Yeah you're right maybe they don't make the satin anymore.

I have tried both the Griot's and the Cerakote's and unless I'm mistaken, they are the same product, but the Cerakote's are less expensive.

After looking I’m coming up with them both being the same price at around 19.99, and with AG’s sales griots on the cheaper side.

NJNinja what size are the Griots wipes? I’ve think i read somewhere the were going to be bigger.

The Cerokote ones are maybe 2” folded squares.

I ran into a minor problem due to me rushing a bit. Sun came out and I pulled the car back but forgot I had the glove on and I got some on my shifter. It's not coming off anytime soon lol. Just have a wet microfiber cloth ready to go.

The only thing I will say is take your time with this stuff. I ran into a minor problem due to me rushing a bit. Sun came out and I pulled the car back but forgot I had the glove on and I got some on my shifter. It's not coming off anytime soon lol. Just have a wet microfiber cloth ready to go. Stuff really lasts.

So the griots wipes size?

The Griot's wipes are 8 mL (0.27 fl oz), which looks to be the same as the Cerakote. Wipes may be the same size?
