WG SiO2 Sealant

I've been using WG DGPS 3.0 for quite a while and am curious about the SiO2 Paint Sealant. Does the SiO2 sealant have the same UV protection as the Deep Gloss Liquid Seal 3.0? It sounds like the SiO2 has a slicker feeling and slightly better gloss than the 3.0 so am curious about it's UV protection factor as I live in a very hot environment with lots of sun. I also presume I need to remove any remnant of DGPS 3.0 prior to applying the SiO2 product? Thanks!

With the SiO2 it should offer a higher level of UV protection. Living in South Florida I notice that the SiO2 lasts longer then the older DGPS 3.0
