How does this product compare to today's current sealants on the market? This product, from what I've read, does a better job at sheeting rather than produce tight beading, which is what everyone today seems to be after. Is Opti Seal still a good product? Could it hold up through the winter months?

It is a great product. I find that it beads decently. The best attribute of this product is how quick and easy it is to use. Not sure where you’re located, but it does well in my winter climate which is mild compared to other states.

It won't last that long if durability is what you are after. The benefit of it is its ease of application. I thought it was ok but nothing outstanding. Can't help you about the winter months as winter in Southern California is either rain or sun.

As noted, it's slick, easy to use but won't last very long. It's now my go-to for glass (except windshields) if a customer doesn't want to pay for a coating or glass specific treatment.

I'd like to try the new Hyper-Seal. Hard to find any reviews of it.

Would adding Optimum Spray Wax boost durability a bit?

What's the reason for not using on windshields? Wiper chatter?

Tried it last night. Very very easy to use. Gloss is great.
