Unfortunately I can't purchase the Evo Cancoat. They have the old one.

The old version will be the same in its application. CanCoat had a 4 hour cure time. Put cure on top and you will be fine from any moisture.

I was hoping for 1 year + with the Evo it says 1 year probably more.

You are way overthinking this. Check out how many users of CanCoat have achieved longer than a year.

Look at other brands that are sold in your area and look into those.
