:laughing::laughing::laughing:

So true.

Nightly "News" is just a TV show with snippets of news mixed with weather forecasts and copious amounts of bull$hit.

So tomorrow news is saying we go to 1.85/litre ($5.56gallon) for low test. Up 12 cents tomorrow. On a holiday. Strange how stock market and business market is closed to but prices go up. They say prices are going up cause of the "summer blend gas".... odd, cause it went up at the start of winter cause of the "winter gas blend".... I would have thought less additives would be in summer gas?? Guess when it goes up again at the start of winter we will have all forgotten that. And our worthless pm says more "carbon taxes" will come every year. :applause:

Last week I pumped Regular 87 octane in my Cadillac for the 1st time in my life.

25yrs. across 8 different Cadillacs and I’ve always pumped Premium until last week. It might’ve been the biggest anti OCD thing I’ve ever done.

I almost felt guilty on the drive home, part of me was waiting for my car to suddenly begin running like chit. So far so good but it still feels weird.

My year Cadillac Northstar owners manual says it runs fine on regular but premium is recommended. Previous to 2000 premium was required.

What I meant is that GM made some type of adjustment to the ECU for less octane, you'll be good to go, it's just octane

Yes, I know. My comment still stands.

Besides, I’m a believer in the added levels of detergents that the premium contains. I’ve gotten verbal detailed description via phone from the chief commander at Shell along with a lengthy email from their lead chemical engineer/scientist that confirms it, and I don’t think they’re lying. And IMO cleaner engines are moe better.

In Sweden we are around $8.50gallon for diesel. And $8gallon for regualar that's 95 octane or no that's not longer the name it's B10. The 10 is for 10% ethanol. They have additives in the diesel that's at least 32% the miles per gallon is lowered a lot by this. Just like when they put in more ethanol in the gasoline. We have the highest diesel prices in the world right now here in Sweden. I can say it's not easy living out on the country side. We have to import the additives as well which it was not meent to be doing. But they have not enough of product for produce it. They raised the levels in it before they knowned that we could produce it our self. The electricity prices is also of the charts for being here. That's cause we got hooked up to the EU electric lines. We have cheap electricity here but cause of the EU prices is high. The prices in southern of Sweden has raised with 300% in the last year only. And because they have closed nuclear reactors the transfer of electricity from north where it's very cheap to the southern. Is not possible any longer as they didn't upgraded the lines before closing them. So we have got prices rising in both gas and electricity in a rate that's crazy high. All cause of we should be leading the way for the environment. I'm not against it. But we must have the things we switch to before we get ridd of the old. Now we the people pays a lot at once for this. And with everything else happened in Europe it's just getting worse sadly.
