Gas prices

I thinks it mainly about control & power-- when you have those two, the $$ will follow

KRAZIE for sure
We have been stripped of so much-- even libs from 40-50 yrs ago would HAVE to agree

Now thats only back to the 70's & 80's-- think about that!!

Still $3.59 here.

NY getting their gas tax holiday money back. And the "Stay home during Covid, and we'll pay you" days in 2020.

Oh?? Did you know there was a recent MTA fare hike in NYC? Yeah.......It now costs over $16 to cross MTA bridges & tunnels.

How does all of that "Free Money" look now?

$2.53 for me last time. Great that the prices are dropping, but it's only because of less demand. Next month when massive layoffs begin it will get even lower

Filled up on the way home from work, BP 95 Octane was $1.86 per litre, that's $4.79 per gallon in your terms, using the current exchange rate. Put in 59.82 litres, or almost 16 gallons, but that was for 2 weeks to and from work and running around on weekends.

Was recently in punta cana, regular unleaded was 4.96 gal, and regular diesel was 4 bucks a gal.

Was suprised diesel was cheaper.

Gas in the Anchorage area jumped up 40-50 cents overnight earlier this week so we were back in the $3.89 range

No idea what caused that other than this multi day snow storm which kind of paralyzed the town

Hopefully things will simmer down now

I actually saw $2.99 a gallon on the way to work yesterday. Was $3.04 eight hours later but still, been awhile since I saw sub-$3.00.

World Oil Supply is back over 100 million bbls per day.

The Trans Mountain pipeline will be finished in 2023 and Canada will be bringing on another 1/2 million bbls per day. Oil tanker traffic out of Vancouver will increase from one per week to one per day. Notice it also delivers to refineries in Washington state.

For now - costs will be up even more in 2023 - and if commodity prices drop too much then things could slow again …

Paid $2.83 for 87 regular on Wednesday night. My station is now at $2.75.

$2.32 @ Costco today

So not a Biden guy….. Didn’t/won’t vote for him…. Not a Trump guy….. didn’t/won’t vote for him.

But Trump got all the credit when gas got cheap during his term and Biden got blamed for it going up.

Who gets credit for it coming back down?

The "magnanimous" Big Oil companies.

They turned a bigger profit in one quarter this past year than they have in any previous year to date. And winter equals less demand.

But, the "winter blended" gas is cheaper to produce, so don't be so quick as to pat them on the back.

Check diesel and home heating oil prices...........
