Polish for black Tundra

I need to choose a polish for my black 2019 truck. It’s a daily driver that gets lightly scratched up in the woods during fall bird hunting season. I’d like to do it once after claying it so something that will remove scratches and finish out well enough. I’ve used Boss fast correcting cream on a red truck with good results but I think the Toyota paint might be softer so I thought it best to ask for suggestions. I’ll use Wolfgang Sealant after polishing. Appreciate any help
 
Maybe their Correcting or Perfecting Cream?

Next time I work in one it's probably getting 3D ONE and / or AAT502.

If you like the Griots, you'd probably do well to investigate the other polishes in their line.

My go to polish is 3D One and I have tried many.

I'm with you with 3D ONE though. My go-to, my "secret weapon".
 
Doesn't 3D one have a poly sealant incorporated in it?

If so.....soobaroo...you wouldn't need to go another step

You're thinking of 3D Speed, 3D One is a pad dependent correction fluid that leaves no protection behind.

You will also like the Boss Perfecting Cream. Has all the attributes you want… easy wipe off, no dusting, long working time and a very pleasant smell. Very easy to work with this one .

If you need something with more cut that will also finish great Sonax EX 04-06 is your friend.
 
I will check out 3D One. Don’t want to use a polish/sealant combo because I’ve used a couple of them and the protection doesn’t seem to last. On another topic I got good durability from Wolfgang SIO2 spray sealant. Tried Blackfire SIO2 last summer just because it was on sale but the durability wasn’t as good as the Wolfgang, at least for me. Anyone else try both and prefer one over the other?
 
The durability of the SIO2's are going to vary from paint to paint...I have a test going on 4 cars with Griots 3 in 1 and they are all over the place

You could always add protection after using 3d speed/3d aat 505, just so long as you dont use any type of coating(a coating lite or a true coating) after an aio

Don't get me wrong 3D one is a nice polish and has been publicized as being pad dependent. The thing is any polish is pad dependent. It is a good selling point. I would choose Sonax Perfect Finish over 3D One 99% of the time. Meguiar's M205 was doing pad dependent things since it arrived onto the market. The only drawback is that it does not finish that well on soft paints.

Would you use Sonax Perfect Finish with a heavy cutting pad to compound? You could with 3D One and then finish down with a finishing pad.

I have always gotten a chuckle out of “pad dependent” from any of the brands, as if anything not labeled that way comes with the only approved pad and if you used anything else your paint fell off

Wholeheartedly agree about the pad dependent thing being a good selling point. I've seen people use Menzerna Fg400 (or whatever they call it these days) on a white polishing pad as a "finishing polish" and I've seen people use Optimum Hyper Polish in conjunction with a microfiber pad for "compounding" duties.
 
I love the Griots Creams. I’ve used it on a 16 mustang GT with shadow black paint which i felt was kinda soft. I think it’ll work great for you.

I find Menzerna MC2500 to be one of the most versatile in that regard. It cuts and finishes so well. I used it for years and still do on occasion.

My reason for using 3D ONE over it, isostly due to the user experience. I love the way it can be worked and how it behaves on the pad. It doesn't seem to build up on pads as the polishing process proceeds. It doesn't require a bunch of product on reload, it's almost impossible to dry buff with it, but that little bit of residue comes up right off the paint.

Sure, my initial test spot might have me chasing wipe off, but I prefer that to having to re-wash the vehicle from all the dust. To further that, where I work part time, they do PPf and tint. Anything that can minimize dusting in that situation is a plus, although I have been able to use M105 without having it dust like crazy, which was unexpected.

Yes. You could do the same with any product.

The other variable is paint hardness.
