Has anyone done or seen a comparison between these two.
Much difference?
Would imagine Cancoat is easier to apply

Thanks in advance

If you use GYEON Primer, CanCoat goes on and off effortlessly. I will say it lasts 12 months+ even if the marketing says otherwise. I've done lots of cars with it and everyone has been pleased. Can't comment on Lite as I've not used it. It's not a part of my offerings.

Thanks.
Do you use Cancoat Evo, think it is newish?

I'll be using this combo (Primer + Cancoat Evo) for the first time this weekend when I detail the neighbors Impala. They only take their cars through touchless carwashes so it'll be interesting to see how it holds up to the high ph soaps for the next 9 months, until its Spring detail.

Can Coat is one of those products that seems to overdeliver consistently.

Keep me posted with the automatic touchless wash how it holds up.

Yep. I've been using the EVO line up since it was introduced. I still have a full can of the previous gen. CanCoat but will likely only use it as a back up.

Yep.

How do you find the difference between gen 1 Cancoat & Evo Cancoat.

I had a very talented detailer get on his high horse the other day with the statement that CanCoat is not a "real" coating. From what I have observed, his business focuses on paint corrections and installation of full-blown ceramic coatings, so guess he has to defend his process to a degree.

From my limited experience with CanCoat, I treated it as a "real" coating and from my observations of it over the last few weeks, it's lives up to that name in my opinion.

If you are after the traditional coating application then CQ Lite.

If you are after a faster application then CanCoat.

Both great products.

Negligible. Side by side you won’t notice they are different.
