Can Coat Evo application curiosity question

Hmmm, i never thought of that before. I was using reload to protect the coating as they say.

i'm going to skip cure - still pickup 100ml if it doesn't work - and see how it goes considering how much cancoat you get. If it doesn't bond i will just re-apply!

Thanks Guz! I finally made up my mind. :D

I'm pretty sure Cure and Reload are the same product, so just use whatever you have.

Don’t use cure if moisture is not in the forecast. Moisture can cause the curing of the coating to not bond well and have poor hydrophobics.
I thought cure was said to be used to protect the coating if it was to be outside during or directly after application of a coating?

Moisture is when to use it if applied outside.

Ok guys, i'm about to order cancoat very soon.

What towels are everyone using? I was looking at TRC pearl edgeless and edgeless 300. They are good value and i hope to use the same towel for polish removal. I have yet to find towels that i like besides my carpro drying towel.

I use Edgeless 300 for that role, but the Pearl Edgeless would be good too.

I used the included Gyeon white MF towel for initial wipeoff and then a TRC Gauntlet towel for final buff.

Initially I was using brand new low nap TRC All Purpose MF towels for final buff but they linted bad because of the slightly grabby nature of Cancoat. So I switched to the softer Gauntlet which was just a dream to use. I love this towel.

Those were the only two towels I used for an entire vehicle.

Pearl’s are junk based on my experience. 300 and 365 are the better options. 365 does better for compounds and polishes.

Thanks guys, i actually got the pearls. Probably would have went with the 300's if i would have waited a little longer for everyone's feedback...

Cancoat on the way!! Can't wait to get my G15 going again!

Excited to try an orange lake country CCS/HDO pad too. Supposed to be a very smooth ride, we'll see.
