Thank you Meghan

Meghan is such a large part of this industry that I have no doubt that she will bounce back even better than before. I can still remember when she put together one of the first Detail Fests. There was never a problem she couldn't fix.

All the best in your future endeavors Meghan!! Thanks for all you have done over the years for us here! Was always good to see you and have a laugh or two with ya at the Detail Fests!

She will be missed here.

Best wishes to future endeavors though!

Thank you Meghan!

Meghan !

Thanks for everything over the years. I got nothing but great respect for you!

Looks like she's the COO of CarCandy now

Interesting, I’ve never heard of “Car Candy” before. Don’t care for their name or logo personally. Good luck to Meghan though…

Never heard of Car Candy either, but 13 years ago I had never heard of Autogeek

Regardless, they are lucky to have Meghan on their team. Wish everyone involved the best

PS
I do wonder how she still has Admin privileges here. Hopefully there's a way to adjust that without kicking her totally out of the AG family. That to me seems wrong

Yeah. I haven't heard of them before either. Looks like a small operation that has all their products blended for them.

+1 on the never heard of them list. Went to their website and was looking at their online catalog, looks like they say they do their own?

"CarCandy™, a division of Ultra-Look Corporation, is a manufacturer and distributor of
automotive detailing chemicals and supplies. Our products are manufactured at our corporate
headquarters in Lakeland, FL with distribution throughout the United States."

Better connected folks that know who-does-what-for-who will know much better than I though!

meaning....they buy bulk chemicals from someone and put them in 16 ounce bottles with their name...just like 75% of everyone else......so make the World go round.

again.....my $0.02

Either way, I wish Meghan all the success she deserves.

They could be mixing them together vs just rebottling.

Could be…

Can see a bit of the GyeonFactory at around 3:18 of their video. Raw materials in big containers, mix ‘em up & bottle ‘em.

Where do ya draw the line between blending, mixing, bottling?

Yeah but most of these resellers won’t have the gall to call themselves a manufacturer. Looking at their line up and how much car wash chemicals from actual car washes the sell I’d say they make their own.

I doubt consumer retail is their bread and butter.

They have an alkaline/acid set up like the touchless that looks interesting.

Its possible

A couple of decades ago there was a guy locally that manufactured ALL of his own detailing line in a 5,000 sq ft warehouse. All it takes is a half dozen vats and a few boat trolling motors. He ended up dying of leukemia in his early 30's. Most attributed his early demise to his constant exposure to so many chemicals. (He never wore masks/gloves)

According to Car Daddy's website they manufacturer all of their products at their Lakeland faculty
