Exterior Trim Coating/Dressing Applicators For Tight Areas ????

Couple of my Toys have some very tight areas on the black exterior plastic trim. When doing a coating or dressing, I've been using foam "paint" brushes as they are the only thing I've found I can get into these tight areas.

Anyone have any other recommendations, or, are these foam throwaways my best choice?

Foam cosmetic wedges work well for applying coatings and dressings into tight tricky areas. These are readily available at any Walgreens, CVS, Wal-Mart, or any other retailer that sells cosmetics.

They are cheap and disposable.

Just do an internet search for “cosmetic wedges” and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

This is what I use. A bag of them I picked up at Target, which only costs a few dollars, will probably last me a lifetime.
 
The best applicator was the one that came with Griots trim restorer. They used to sell it separate, but I don't see it anymore.

I usually just take an old microfiber cloth and cut it into whatever size piece is needed. I do this for everything, i.e., compounds/polishes, waxes/sealants, etc., not only trim dressings.

Found the cosmetic wedges at Target. 96 for 5 dollars and change.

I'll try the cut up mf's as well, thank you.

Very nice. Got a '72, blue with white under a blanket in the garage. Rewiring it right now.
