Years ago, I had a guy who has a detail shop tell me the "secret" to detailing was compressed air. Not having access to a compressor (at that time), I listened, but didn't dwell on it.

Now that I DO have a working compressor, the thought reoccurred to me, since there have always been two areas on the interior of my Camaro that I HAVE NOT been able to clean. The 'valleys' between the seat and the door sill, they are simply too deep and too tight to get even a crevice tool in there (or even my fingers). So the sad truth is that they have never really been cleaned since I owned the car.

That has now changed. Yesterday, I experimented with the compressor and a blower nozzle on the driver's side. The compressor is set at about 110 psi output and it took me all of 30 seconds to totally clean out the valley between the seat and door sill. That area has NEVER been that clean since I bought the car. While having an extension on the nozzle would have been nice, it did just fine with the 'stubby' nozzle.

I know, the REST of the interior is still filthy, but I was impressed by how well the forced air worked (and I DO plan on cleaning the rest of the interior, a little at a time).

Same as you, never been able to use compressed air. Started noticing a few tight areas in the only two vehicles I clean, I came across this device on the A yesterday. Pleasantly surprised for such a small device... so much so that stupid me actually blew stuff in my eyes the first time thinking it'll never be powerful enough.

Good enough for use around the house and in tight spots in the car. I'm sure a compressor would be a world of difference but no complaints for this new addition.

I've figured oujt (with some help) how to post full sized pictures again. Here is a before & after of the valley between the driver's seat and the door sill (I know the rest of the car is filthy). I'll get to the rest in time.

I would try to jury-rig something to a vacuum rather than blowing all that $hit in your interior.
 
You can buy "micro" attachments for your vacuum online. They usually have some sort of step-down coupler that attaches to a regular sized hose (from the vacuum) and then reduces it so the attachments work. They come with all sorts of small brushes and crevice tools.
 
I bought that micro attachment kit. They’re worthless. Lol

I'm not doing it all over the car, just those two areas next to the seats and I'm doing them first, so I will still have to clean the rest of the interior anyway.

My seat are equipped with airbags, so I'm not going to risk it to clean a 1/2" X 9" section of carpet.

One trick i've found to make the cleaning better spray with APC then spray with air :).
