What's everyone's 2023 Summer Order?

Nice haul

Really curious about the SPTA mini. I've been thinking about it for real tight spots and wondering if I'll see it go on sale during Prime Days next week.

Yeah, that was a head-scratcher.

He seemed to have some some poignant takes on things.

Weird that he would go off on such a tangent about a certain race of people publicly.

Maybe he needs therapy.

Maybe he lost his mind detailing too much.

For about $35 canadian I get 128oz 3D towel kleen 2oz per load vs 32oz rags to riches 1oz per load. Its still double the price.

I like 3D speed so I reserve it mostly for waxing with very light correction since it can also fill. Its 10% compound 20% polish and 70% montan wax.

Let me tell you a trick I do, 3 drops of speed and 2 drops of 3D one and watch the magic happen ;)
Love that combo on uro-fiber 50-50 pad.

3DTK is $25 a gallon and P&SR2R is $40 in US. So at recommended ratio RR is better value and for me personally has out performed all others that I have tried (including TK)

At CA prices I would stick with TK too!

I just checked the prices again with my wholesale account at my vendor and gallon for gallon the price in canadian is $30 for 3D towel kleen and $47 for rags to riches. So the gal. R2R price is lower vs 32oz(C$24)

but one thing I did see is the suggested use for 3D TK is 2oz for “averaged size” load vs r2r is 1oz for small loads and 2 oz for big ones. So you don’t need 2oz for all loads for towel kleen. P&S also suggests pre-soaking it with 1-2 oz.

I can consider picking it up next time to test if it does clean better, though I have no complaints with towel kleen. Pre-soak is better regardless. I also find towel kleen very good for cleaning pads and assume the same for R2R if you’re already not using it for that.

Wash was the same but never pre soaked with TK and had hydrophobic towels come back to life. I’d assume adding some APC to TK would do the same.

I have a full gallon of TK, Mckee’s and Griots so will be awhile before I buy any more of everything.

Went a little overboard when Autogeek had 40% off of MF’s and MF detergent.

Haha yeah I do the same during sales. Pre-soaking the towels is a must for me. I use some koch chemie gs in heavily soiled ones. Just a touch and Gets them clean every time

So you are you saying to spray or mist onto paint directly, then wipe onto paint with mf towel then wipe off?

So I ended up using their wheel, shampoo+, the ceramic sealant (on wet), and tire+ today. No complaints whatsoever. All pretty versatile and flexible. I did throw a paste wax on top after ADS confirmed it was fine and longevity isn't an issue for me but I will say the wet application ceramic sealant was a breeze.

I'm really happy with Tire+ and this was just a throw-in to get me over the $150 threshold. One coat has good shine and the application on a microfiber pad was so easy. I had been trying aerosol sprays lately to find something easy but Tire+ might just be my new favorite along with the likes of Perl. If it washes away in the rain tomorrow I guess I'll feel differently but one of my favorite tire shine products so far.

ADS might just be an up and coming brand for awhile. I'll be keeping watch on what else they do moving forward. I still have more to try but for what I used in maintenance today, it's a

Nice .

Their wheel looks interesting to try. Im just more of a fan of yellow degreaser, and being able to cut it to my needs. So maybe at some point.

Looks like a good line out of Italy

Yes, I’m already using Labocosmetica polishes and love them. Really good stuff from the same parent company MaFra. Maniac line will be a hot here in NA if they’re as good as their labo’s polishes and other stuff I keep hearing good things about.

So I went for the one I think you have ($143 in my picture) but I'm wondering the difference or if I need what I think is the slightly newer variant?

I'm debating getting the order in for both and just sending one back once I do more research. Anybody with any thoughts?

Here is a good video comparing the two. The newer version seems to be less prone to stalling.

Thanks - I was multitasking at work watching that some. I'll only use it as a DA so was trying to skip to the relevant parts. I'll review closer.

At the purchase time I went by the reviews on AMZ and I should know better by now. Those generally aren't very professional users.

Looks similar to the Griot's. Probably has the same issue as the SPTA (no rebuild parts available).
