Say you have a vehicle..be it big or small that you take to truck shows, and its ceramic coated. It gets driven to the shows. So its dusty/dirty and you want to clean it up before the show, but you dont have access to a hose or anything. Mind you these folks are not like us...miticulous about how and what use use to touch the paint. Most just use a few mf towles and a detail spray or similar.

Gimmie your two cents on what you would reccomend said individuals on how to clean up the ride at a show. Be it products, or a process. Keeping it as simple as can be for the majority of non detail freaks

Rememeber they aint gonna bust out a pump sprayer/ rinseless soulution and pre spray vefore preforming a rinseless...even though that might be a good aproach lol.

I’d recommend using this.

Edit: You say it’s ceramic coated?

I wish I could remember better but a well known and respected detailer was talking about this EXACT situation in relation to HIGH END car shows

Absolute freaks with perfect paint showing up at the show in a dusty ride and pulling out a crappy old microfiber and some Walmart WW and doing more damage to their paint than a sandstorm

If they aren't smart enough to "bust out the rinse less" I'm not sure I have any advice for them

I guess the best WW and plushest microfibers I could lay my hands on

The ceramic aspect is the wildcard to me because I am so new to that situation

Keep it simple.

I believe Gyeon makes a Ceramic Detailer which would probably be ideal to work with their coatings.

You know honestly, that’s a good product

I used to buy a lot of clay bar kits back in the day but mostly used ONR for clay lube

I’ve been burning through the excess ever since

Are they just going to use whatever they can get locally or is Amazon an option? Are they willing to use a concentrate or is that out of the question?

Thanks for bringing this product up Eldo as that has made me think of another Meguiar's product. Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Detailer would actually be the perfect product since it works in conjunction with the coating and will help maintain peak hydrophobic behavior. And you can get this stuff at wal mart if need be. Fellow forum member Loach (WaxMode on yt) has a good video on it's performance as a topper.

I did the same, can still remember that scent.

Griots Garage Best of Show Detailer. Was made for going to shows and doing a wipe down.

Will work on hot panels or shows.

Indoor shows I would go SpeedShine.

You know i liked that product when i used their clay bar kits as well.

I keep thinking that you would want a spray with some sort of cleaning ability. Any thought on that?

In which case, Carpro ECH20 mixed at a water-less wash ratio.

P&S Paint Gloss is worth looking at too, it's primarily for gloss enhancement but it has some very mild cleaning ability too.

It does have cleaning ability.

Another option is Mckees N914 @1:128

Thanks for that clarification! Good to know.

And n914 at that mix was my original thought in my head! Thanks for your thoughts

I didn't mention a quick detailer initially either because I don't think they have NEAR the cleaning ability or the ability to "encapsulate or whatever" dirt like more modern WW formulas

Even just an ONR mix at WW/QD would be better than an old school quick detailer

I know this is what a QD was supposedly for but why take about 15 steps back

I think of a QD as more an indoor product for the lightest of dust, not crap accumulated driving to an event

I don't think it was Mike Phillips talking about this; I really wish I could remember who it was

It is possible it was Larry Kosilla of AMMO NYC

If it comes to me I will post up
