Butler PA. Around 75 miles from me. Was watching the 6 o'clock news and BAM!! Shots fired at Trump. Crazy.

Yea it’s unfortunate.
I hope this thread ends now because threads involving politics are going to kill this forum like it almost did last time.

It's not about politics, its about life

No one was behind it, Crazy Kid With A Gun, Episode 4,396.

Says who? You know there’s more than 1 source of information.

I can tell you right now that eyewitnesses interviewed by newscasters live on scene talked about how they were telling the police they saw a suspicious guy climbing towards the roof and they said the cops seemed to be playing dumb, as if they were in no hurry to stop whatever they were being told about.

So if that’s true, and the guys certainly don’t seem like liars, then what’s the bigger picture now?

I like ALL the OG's here, we're a tight knit group but this is how it starts.

Everything is on the table, it's possible your right Ric, the world is crazier than ever

This is my prediction of what the enquiry into this will say, the guy who saw him on the roof told local or state police, the police were earlier told by the secret service that they will have guys on various rooftops with rifles, don't mess with them, so when the guy was telling the police about the guy on the roof, they just thought "yeah, that's the secret service and we don't want to get in trouble".

My guess is some in the secret service will lose their jobs over this, every rooftop within range should have had someone on it.

And just a little devils advocate here, if they could prove Biden had anything to do with it, he can't be prosecuted because the recent supreme court decision says all presidents have presidential immunity for everything they do in office.

Speaking as someone with "no horse in the race", I don't envy your choices in the upcoming election. But at least you can ignore the whole thing if you want to, voting in elections is compulsory here, $55 fine if you forget.

Wow, I didn't know that but I bet that fine is happily paid if you can't stand either candidate

Our choices are this, one candidate can't speak and one speaks too much...more difference but I'll never post that

If I want to get technical, we just have to get our names marked off on a list, but our ballots are still on paper, so you can mark your vote, leave them blank, write a rude or funny message, draw a picture, doesn't matter, as long as you get marked off your good to go. Our informal voting rate sits at about 5%, but back in the 70s it was almost 10%, so I'd say we're a bit more interested now.

You'll never convince me the events happening to Trump for all these years don't involve the gov't. Kennedy, both of them and Trump and many others are all gov't controlled or influenced. I have zero doubt they believe he's a threat, but it's not to the American people, certainly not our way of life or democracy, but to their power and money and control. Zero doubt and I'm totally organizing another caravan in the fall. We had thousands of people in the 18 groups last time, this year I predict we will have way more participants.

I could be wrong, but I believe the “everything they do in office” refers to official Presidential duties… Helping plan an assassination on your political opponent doesn’t sound like an official Presidential duty.

It’s too bad the shooters dead, as he now becomes a man of mystery sort of like Lee Harvey Oswald. However with today’s technology it shouldn’t be impossible to trace back all forms of communication he had and with who. I’m sure they had him using burner phones, but he had to be communicating normally at some point..

So far it seems like the FBI is dragging their ass which is no surprise. The Secret Service seems to have dropped the ball or at worse allowed it to happen. The whole thing is a shame to say the least.

As far as that guy on the roof.. Word is he had at least 3min. up there before he fired the 1st shot. All that while the Secret Service was aware and so were the local police. If that’s the case how the hell didn’t 1 communicate with the other or simply take care of the bare minimum and if you’re not going to shoot the guy 1st at the very least have someone with a badge follow the guy up to roof and find out who and what the hell he’s doing up there? Because SS had to know it wasn’t 1 of them and they should’ve known that rooftop was off limits to everyone.

The whole things reeks of lies even down to the media so quick to report the guy was supposedly a registered republican. Funny thing is last time the country filled in ballots for President he wasn’t even old enough to vote yet! So why in the hell would he immediately be labeled somekind of loyal republican?

It almost sounds as stupid as when they supposedly found Mohamadd Adas passport in perfect condition in the rubble of the World Trade Center. Btw lets not forget they also claim to have never located either of the 2 Black Boxes from the planes. That pretty much never happens, but somehow did on 9/11

I read the below in an article in The Guardian a couple of days ago, which prompted my comment. As it says, he declares them an enemy of the state, then orders it, and later in the same article, it says he can then use presidential pardon powers to stop anyone who followed his orders from being convicted. A sane person would say this could never happen, but the world is a little crazy at the moment.

"The idea that the president might declare a political opponent an enemy of the state and have a military sniper kill that person was raised as a hypothetical during oral arguments, and the resulting decision, incredibly, does not categorically rule that act a prosecutable abuse of power."

Well they’ve tried everything else, so I wouldn’t put it passed them. Lol.

Donald Trump will go down as 1 of the most mentally strong and composed men in recent history with as much BS they’ve tried to use to bring him down. BS judgments worth hundreds of millions of dollars, BS felony convictions over “hush money” to some ####? Having his estate raided by the FBI over some BS paperwork that he had the rights to have. [Biden also was found to have classified paperwork at his house, however in his case it actually was illegal since he wasn’t President when he brought them home] But they never seemed to care about that paperwork…

Falsely accused of being racist by the mainstream media, the whole Russia deal turned out to be completely false, the list goes on and on and on. And somehow there’s still people who think he’s going to turn into somekind of dictator if allowed back into office. [as if that happened during his 1st term]

There’s alot of….

Where you going

The route is usually a loop around our Outerbelt which is 45 miles and encircles the city. Not sure if we will do that an exit 70 West and carry it to Dayton or not but with the WPAFB there we might. Early in the planning just yet.
