ADS Quartz applied to the EN!

Yeah, I agree but I'm also the person with ceramic coatings sitting inside a dark cold room from last Black Friday. For example, I have the Pinnacle Black Label 5yr from AGO that I grabbed last year for $19.99. Unopened and still sounds fine when I shake it. So a reasonable conclusion is I'll be able to get Phobic in the next ADS Black Friday sale and not run out of others!

I definitely anticipated more family members buying vehicles in 2024.

Haha im in a similar boat...before i exclusively switched to ads quartz i bought 2 extra 50ml bottles of geyon mohs evo since i wasnt sure how much a semi would require that i was gonna be doing. Ended up using one and finished an already opend bottle. So now ive had 2 50ml boxs of mohs evo on the shelf. Any coatings ive done since, ive used ads quartz cuz i wanted to give what i think is a better product. Oh well, ill give someone a deal at some point

In your expert opinion, what makes ADS Quartz the better coating? I'm currently riding the Mohs train but can always make that switch, if the price is right.

Optimus, I'm no expert or repeat installer of ceramic coatings multiple times a year but I'll give you a couple impressions of my ADS Quartz install compared to Gyeon Q2 Pure EVO from 2 years ago

First the application was easier, applied in a line and THEN in circular motions, flashes more consistently and then there's the removal...easier than some waxes/sealants I've used in the past

Now I'm only what, 7 weeks in to my ADS Quartz run but I still can't over the beading, no high spots have appeared and the gloss or SHIMMER as it were, I shake my head at the looks of my car after installation, it makes THAT much of a difference

Finally the self cleaning...I've driven in the rain, parked the car and it's dried up and the only dirt I see, ever, is on the black, plastic pieces on the sides of my car, while coated it shows...a little, most people wouldn't notice but WE do

I was considering to just ride out my glass needs with CarPro Clarify Phobics but based on ADS exceeding my expectations, I might actually get their glass coating this Wed with my Black Friday order, 25% off doesn't hurt but still, this company is kicking serious ass right now...the train is chuggin'

Just applied for a wholesale account. Once that is approved I’ll submit my application to be a certified installer of ADS Quartz Pro. That will replace my CSL+EXOv5 option since I’ve been looking for a solid coating that can get 3-5 years with a single layer.

They'll approve you immediately. I got approved and honestly told them I have installed only about 3 coatings. They approved me to make sure I hit the sale and I'll respect the process and chat with DJ before I actually install Pro. They approved me on a Sunday holiday.

I’m good now. Got a wholesale account so I get about 20% off. Now time to find a guinea pig.

Im no expert, thats for sure. I feel quartz has the slickness like mohs, as well as the ease of application/wipeoff. In my head im thinking i should get more durability from ads quartz since its a high solids coating.

How much does it take to coat a typical sedan?

The only other sale I recall from this year might be St Patrick's Day. Mark that date down as my bet in the green sponge release pool!

If i rememeber correctly when i did my buick lacrosse, maybe half a bottle. And that was my first time using it, i was a little heavy handed.

Onlything i dont care for is the bottles are not see through, so you have no clue how much exactly is left in the bottle

Full size crew cab8 ft bed truck i used a whole bottle. Grand cherrokee L and ford excursion i had some left in the bottle...again how much is unknow exactly

Hahaha nice! I got it early too. Ive never tried spray on rinse off products because im a skeptic of them but since they have yet to have a dud i snagged beads, i needed more adapt and amplify so close to free shipping so snagged hero to try too..which put me right at it.

Well done. I like all those you mention and Adapt and Hero will be pretty versatile.

I go for the spray/rinse on wheels and rocker panel areas. I hate coating those and wiping them too.

U know..you raise a good point. I didnt even think about using hero in place of adapt. Ive gone through a gallon of adapt so far, and other than me having the og verson which would streak if you used it as a waterless wash, ive loved it for door jams, interior, engine bay, glass, wheel whipedown post wash. Once i try hero ill have to evaluate it as a possible replacement for adapt.
