They give partial credit now and you have to swap for another machine (used to be able to get a cash refund if thats what you wanted).

I don't have a problem with them changing their policy, but for ppl like myself that bought under the agreement that our machines would be replaced no matter what, theyve turned themselves into a company that cant be trusted / LIARS.
They have set themselves up for a class action lawsuit if enough ppl would join

I've had my 3 & 6" GG machines since 2009...no problems but I don't use the hell out of them either. So if one goes bad I get partial credit towards a new one

If that's the agreement that was in place in 2009 (I don't think it was) and your happy with that, then good on you (and them...$$$)

And how the hell does anyone even get Gree Otts out of Griots? I’ve never understood that. Lol.

I'll say it's done phonetically, that's why

Back home there's a street called Gratiot. I could hear out of towners pronouncing it Grat-i-ot but it's pronounced Gra-shit

I live in the southernmost tip of Los Angeles in the part called Wilmington. Next to us is the part called San Pedro. Everyone from LA pronounces it San Peedro.

If you ever hear someone say San Pedro then you automatically know they’re not from around here.Lol.

It's easier if you just shorten it to Jag, but you have to say it like Jeremy Clarkson.

I like this place name game, we have a long list of mispronunciations over here. We have a town called Wagga Wagga, that most people just call Wagga, but there's another place called Woy Woy, but nobody calls it Woy. I don't know why.

Stupidity? I used to pronounce it Gry-otts, it never occurred to me that it was French and was pronounced Gree-ohs

I think I was first pronouncing it roo-pees, before the cool kids said it was pronounced roo-pez. I still call it roo-pees, and to their credit, the company doesn't really seem to care how you pronounce it. After all you say tomato, I say tomahto, let's call the whole thing off.

Probably the same with Sepulveda Blvd. I always get a chuckle when people ask me how to get to "Supple Vida." It's pronounced seh-pull-vuh-duh. You know they are not from around here, lol.

I wouldn't call that loaned out. Loaned out is a day or two. It belongs to the loaned person now.

I have tons of tools. Not just detailing tools but also tools that would be used for building/ remodeling and tools used for mechanical work. I have learned through experience not to loan anything out. When I have they have never been returned or not returned in the same condition as it was loaned in.
People that don't own their own tools either don't know how to use them or intentionally abuse them. Relatives are the worst offenders. I worked hard to obtain them and treat them as they should be treated. That may sound harsh but it is reality.
