That was always the conspiracy theory--and as I said, some of the products were so similar/seemingly identical, that it was believable. We went through a whole deal on Autopia decades ago about the Zaino "factory" here in NJ, turns out the address that was on the website back in the 00's was...not a factory, it was a Mailboxes, Etc. (now a UPS store).

The address they use now resolves not to the Zaino factory, but to a performance parts mfr. here in NJ (which I suspect is a friend of Sal's). And since Zaino ships from a centrally located warehouse, I think it's pretty safe to say that Zaino uses a blender and a 3PL company for fulfillment. So in the era of Pan and The House of Rags...does that make Zaino a "real" company?

Just want to take a moment to send my best wishes to those impacted by those horrible fires in California. At first glance, it was somewhat puzzling how such a thing could happen in the middle of winter, mainly because summer is our peak alert when it comes to fires. There have been some horrific fire events in Australia, I remember making my way back up the highway trying to get home during the Black Saturday fires in 2009, the whole state was covered in smoke haze. However, the fires in California make Black Saturday look like a small campfire in comparison. And after watching this unfold on the other side of the world, it's clear these fires are an extraordinary set of circumstances. We might be on the other side of the world, but we are all humans and its never nice to see this happen. Best of luck to all those involved.

We've got a warm up coming this weekend, 36 and sunny this Saturday, so Labocosmetica Alkaline pre-wash will be put to the test for sure

I'm curious to see how the Primus does on salt. Let me know how it does after it dwells and is rinsed off. I've got salt on my truck and I wanna know if I can just get away with a primus spray and rinse for the time being.

I only have Alkaline & ACIDIC for RW, Bilt-Hamber Touchless and Griot's Garage Foaming Surface Prep are my go to pre-wash when doing a traditional 2BM
