I suspect the silver painted part on the wheels is the same colour as the silver on the body, but it's hard to confirm with all the curves and angles, and most pictures don't show it good enough to tell.

Good detail. To the nines. Finished with TWHS BLACK WAX. Refreshed the tires with Griots ceramic tire shine. Interior gets inside job and leather mist. Something about black when it is clean.

I love a colour tinted wax, Amazon keeps sending me this suggestion from Soft 99, very reasonable $36.62 delivered on Prime, but the Pearl and Metallic version that I really want to try on the FJ, is not available to be delivered to my location. Still, the Dark and Black would be good on the Qashqai.

The guy i watch on YouTube always finishes with Soft 99 wax.. I think Fusso. And it always comes out looking top notch

Detail #2 on my way to correcting all of the dealership inflicted damage. Focused on giving this a deep interior clean which gave me a chance to see if my new Chief Steamer 100 was worth the money and the short version is that it’s worth every penny. Even managed to put a few stripes in the carpet because I was told that you’re not a detailer if you don’t put stripes. Topped it off with a quick hybrid wash using Frostbite for the pre-wash and DIY rinseless in the garage for the contact wash to remove the tree sperm and a layer of grime the pollen was covering. Next up is an aggressive one-step and coating in about a month to get this in the condition it should have been at the time of sale.

Noticed someone backed into my wife's car and someone else decided open their door and scratched her rear passenger door. I spent the day polishing those spots to make the damage less noticeable and sealed it up with Wolfgang Sio2 spray Sealant.

Washed with the new (improved?) Hyper Wash and applied homebrew topper. Besides the scent on the new hyper wash, it does seem to be a touch slicker and rinse off slightly easier. Could be the placebo effect though. Will need to grab the gallon version again to compare. The watermelon scent is pleasant to my nose, but if you're not into that artificial watermelon smell this might put you off.

Hyper Wash is one of my favorite Meg's products, so I'd be keen to give the new version a try.
Knowing the incompetence and greediness of the local Megs importer, I'd say we will have access to it in three years time.

As an aside to this, the Bunnings guy I was talking to said that the Meg's rep he spoke to said they are not very happy with Super Cheap Auto, this could be because SCA are heavily promoting Gyeon, or alternatively, the reason they're pushing Gyeon now. Or it could all be nothing.Hyper Wash is one of my favorite Meg's products, so I'd be keen to give the new version a try.

And damn good ones at that. I had the Mcculloch 1385 which died a tragic death while on a a job so it was time to go with professional grade equipment. It was a hard pill to swallow going from a. $200 machine to a $1000 but the difference in quality and the increase in efficiency was well worth the jump in price. Kevin seems like an honest salesman which is a rarity in the Utoob space.

They also make a polish that I have but have not used yet. Might give it a coat this spring. The black spray wax I have been using from them seems fine so far. Just a spray or two per panel and wipe off with a good MF. Best way I have found to reduce streaks.
