Negative effects of spreading dumb disinformation…

Thanks for clarifying that, I only checked the price because it was hard for me to believe that it was $100/gal, however I didn't go further to check the dilution rate, which seems to be 1/4 oz/gallon for a bucket wash.
To break it down by cost per wash, If you're putting two ounces in the foam cannon Reset is $1.41/wash while Incredible Suds is $.59/wash with just one ounce in the foam cannon. I tend to use 1.5 oz of Suds so for me it's $.78/wash. It's hard to beat that price for a soap that works as well as Suds does. I'll pay extra for Reset because it's so damn good and I do get wholesale pricing but Suds is #2 on my list for a quality pH neutral soap.

There's NO arguing your assessment of DIY Detail, facts are facts, no matter who's company it is

I've put 1 oz in my IK Foam Pro 12 and it foams like crazy, granted it's 1 gallon of water to 1 oz of IS but even in my 2BM wash, that 1 oz foams like Bilt-Hamber AutoWash does or pretty damn close

Finally the badly named Adam's Graphene carwash soap, absolute SLEEPER product that's usually available OTC at most Autozones. To be completely honest, it's been said that it's comparable to CarPro Reset and I know that's some statement but I challenge anyone to try it and not come away VERY impressed with it

Is Incredible Suds more concentrated than Meguiars Hyper Wash 400:1 for $30 per gallon?

I didn’t have time to really do that math… So off the top of my head Megs Hyper Wash is more concentrated because they say 1oz. is good for a whole wash bucket and I believe that’s them being generous because 400:1 would actually calculate to less.

Correct me if I’m wrong on my dilutions, but Megs Hyper Wash beats it at 1/3rd. of the price?

I'm not good at math so I Googled it, it's 37.5%, what's 4.5% amongst friends

I wish I didn't have so much soap or I'd buy this Meg's Hyper Wash, just lost track of Meg's years ago, sorry Ric but my garage years ago was coined "The Mequiars Compound"

I'm still drinking my coffee...but if 1oz/gallon is 128:1, and 1/2oz/gallon is 256:1, then 1/4oz/gallon is 512:1, so the dilution is better than Hyper Wash, I can't do the price per wash thing right now.

$60 > 1/4oz.

Two comments on DIY Incredible Suds.
It could be a good soap but ill never know as i consider it grossly overpriced and one will most likely never see it on my detailing shelf.

Second Yvan is a salesman 1st and foremost. His company sells detailing products and their primary mission is sales. Their products might be good but there are other competing products that are just as good and considerably less expensive.

Damn it Ric I added Meg's Hyper Wash to my Amazon order, along with a cast iron skillet, 2 bottles of Chevron Techron fuel injection cleaner and 2 deodorant sticks

I agree, he’s a salesman and the guy behind the “House of Rags” account [btw what a blatant rip off of a name from Rag Company that was. Lol] is a detailing enthusiast.

I say that based on these comments by them that I posted earlier in this thread, and the fact that anyone who actually details cars knows the importance and benefits of using deionized water.. Someone who doesn’t actually detail cars doesn’t.

I’m not really concerned with Megs. All I’m saying is that for a soap with excellent cleaning power that works well as a bucket wash and as a pre-wash, Suds is a pretty damn good value, especially since I get it for customers at wholesale cost. If you like Hyperwash more power to you. If a customers finds a gallon of Reset to be a little steep, Suds is what I recommend. To each his own.

DIY Detail Incredible Suds is $74.99 at most car detailing stores such as AutoForge, Car Supplies Warehouse and Detailed Image. It's out of stock at Detailed Image but you can still order it for $59.99 by using the 20% off coupon.
+ 10.99 shipping @DI + TAX (80.00)

I wasn’t even going to bring up Hyper Wash.. The only reason I did was because of the following comment.

You said Suds is hard to beat by cost per wash… I simply pointed out the Hyper Wash beats it easily at 1/3rd. the cost.
[And it can even be bought locally at Harbor Freight]

I was messing around with a cheap pump foam sprayer that I got from AliExpress. I first filled it with some Incredible Suds and sprayed it on a vinyl fence. The foam and lubricity was great but it lacked cleaning power by having to really scrub with a microfiber noodle to get the fence clean. I then tried McKee's 37 N-914 which didn't foam nearly as good but did a much better job cleaning the fence (way less scrubbing) than the Incredible Suds.

Dont think id use a microfiber noodle on a vinyl fence.
Id use a microfiber noodle on something i was worried about scratching. Dont think id be worried about scratching a vinyl fence.

Think i would have used something with a little more scrubbing power.

Seems odd that the McKees would do better than the DIY in that situation.

I received the microfiber noodle free with a battery powered foamer that I bought off of Amazon. I wouldn't use it on my car (since I have no idea the quality of it) so I thought it was a good wash media for cleaning the fence. Plus I find it fun to try out different car detailing products.

I was surprised as well that the McKee's N-914 cleaned better but then again I have heard that it's always a compromise between lubricity and cleaning power. So if a soap has really good lubricity such as Incredible Suds, then it will have less cleaning power. N-914 has way less lubricity but from my test is a better cleaner.

Foam twice, never heard that one, is that an "Ivan-ism"

I think the detailer in question rinsed car, then foamed and then did th contact wash with that first round of foam.

I have seen guys foam, rinse, foam, contact wash, rinse.
