Just looked at the forecast, up until yesterday, the temperatures have been more like early Autumn instead of being on the cusp of winter. Well, I think that has come to an end.................................
The best bit? I no longer have to endure subzero winter starts outdoors! Or working in the rain. Or working in a thunderstorm. Or working in windy 48c (118f)-degree heat.

OMG
We got it by 2 tornados. This one went about 30 miles on the ground. Unfortunately they have about 27 casualties so far.

No, the horses have raincoats, the cattle aren't so lucky, but they are well fed. One of the farmers was doing a drive by check as I walked past.

The rain has finally eased this morning, but the flood waters are still flowing downstream. These floodplains will take weeks, if not months to drain. Roads are closed everywhere, it was taking people more than 2 hours to get out of our suburb this morning. All the cattle, horses, and kangaroos are safe on the high ground.
