What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Finally liberated the GLI with a good contact wash(last 3 were touchless jobs) and got a good LSP on it again, Jescar Ultralock Plus+ to the rescue. That stuff is such a pleasure to use. The buff-off is so easy it made me chuckle...the weight of the edgeless towel in one swipe is basically all it takes to remove the haze. As long as you apply it nice and thin. I use a microfiber applicator that is damp with water. About halfway through you don't even need to put more product on the applicator, just mist with water and it continues to give you the product that is built up on the applicator in sufficient amounts.

Maybe just me and no one else. I think it's a good size (slightly bigger than the 16x16 Griot's PFMs) but not that much bigger that dragging it on the ground is much more of a concern and it's edgeless.

I have some of the 15x24 Gauntlets and besides drying extremely well I love the size for a four fold final wipe down

Big enough to cover some real estate but not too big

These new towels look interesting plus they are my favorite color

So I went to The Rag Company site and read their advertising for the M22 towel. In the first line it says " inspired by the WWII Locust tank". I actually laughed when I read that. Seems like an odd comparison to me. A towel compared to a tank?
Who writes this stuff?

Agreed it's more towel. But what weight towel is optimum? What is enough? Is someone going to out do The Rag Company with a 2400 GSM towel? I'm betting they will.
Not putting TRC towels down. I have their towels and they are a very good product.

It could actually be heavy to use. Maybe a once over with this followed by a small PFM would work. I'd be content if Griot's would just make an edgeless PFM that isn't 29x36.

PS Besides, I bought all those rinseless sponges a few months ago to do a detailed comparison....and I got zero response to that thread...probably because I didn't do it...and why is this M22 towel 20 x 20? Since it's $22 and 2200 GSM, shouldn't it be 22 x22? That's it, I'm not buying it until they make it bigger. Humph.
