I see there is the new optimum spray gun are there any OTC spray guns that work with tire gels and other products that work good but maybe cheaper. such as paint guns.
 
Any gravity feed paint sprayer will work.

depends on the product. if the mist is fine enough then it will dry clear. takes some practice, but really is a time saver if you work in volume.
 
Man, it looks like it uses a heck of a lot of dressing! More than I use anyhow. I know those are big tires, but that looked like a lot of spraying, unless it's coming out deceptively very fine.
 
yes thats what i thought.. what about the gel tire dressing isnt it to thick to be sprayed through these types of sprayers
 
But with my process I first spray the tire and wheel well and then my applicator to get spread the little place I couldn't get with my spray gun and then push the dressing to one side. Looks really good and even. You don't use that much when spray with HVLP gun

The gel or dressing can be cut with water in the gun to make the gel go into solution. This helps it travel through the gun and 20oz of solution can do 6 vehicles (nothing crazy like 40" Mud Tires)...
 
Wait so gel would mix with water and what dilution can would be a good mixture. Mine's goes through my gun without no problem.
