Yesterday was the first day in about 4 months that I was able to do more than a simple wash to my Yukon.

The paint was in good condition with very little spiderwebbing, so little that there was no need to polish.

- Wash
- Spot clay - hood, bumper, lower panels, rear
- paint cleanser - Pinnacle paint cleanser
- Souveran paste
- Poorboy's wheel sealant on wheels
- Zaino Z16 on tires and trim

Here are the pics...I never get tired of seeing Souveran on black!! I just wish I could afford to drive it more

Outstanding results. Glad you were able to give the Yukon proper treatment :)

God that is an awesome Yukon and detail, that has to be the best lookin GMC in the world!!!!

A beautiful Yukon. It's to bad taking long drives has become such an expensive deal in suvs.

That looks amazing man. Wish I could be that good... =\

Props to you for maintaining such a flawless finish on such a huge vehicle. Great pics as well!

Thanks all, it had been a while since I was able to do more than ONR and QD...but with good washing/drying techniques there was no need to polish.

Lookin good!!! Where've you been by the way?

Been busy, family & working on a business plan for my restaurant. Detailing was also put on hold for a while because I tweaked my back during some San Shou training and was layed up for a few months. Now I'm health again and I'll start doing some details again.

Props to you for maintaining such a flawless finish on such a huge vehicle. Great pics as well!

Thanks...Like I said before, the key is proper washing and drying to maintain the finish. The less I have to polish the better!:buffing:

Looks sweet. Hope my Lincoln looks that nice when i'm done.

Thanks, just take your time and use proper techniques and you can bring back any finish...well almost any:D

is that the truck from the pinnacle videos????

Yep, same one:cheers:

Thanks again!

those look like eagle alloys.... what do you use to clean/polish them?

just plain delicious ... truly a Pinnacle of finishes.

thought so . great videos by the way!!.....

Thanks!

those look like eagle alloys.... what do you use to clean/polish them?

Yes they are Boss polished (superfine finish) 301's...I use Meguiars Hot Rims Mag & Wheel aluminum polish (works great and is cheap) or Clearkote Metal polish for light marring or oxidation and Metallwerks Polishes for deeper scratches/marring/oxidation. I also protect them with 2-3 coats of Poorboys Wheel sealant (great wheel sealant BTW) every 3-6 weeks.

just plain delicious ... truly a Pinnacle of finishes.

Thanks...it's a beast to clean (and keep it clean) but after 6 years I think I have down to a science!

Are those headlights off a Denali??

Yes they are the projector headlights from the Denali

What did you have to do to swap them out?
Thanks Ryan

Nothing, they bolt right on...the only difference is the Denali headlights use 9005 bulbs for both low and high beams....instead of 9006 for the low beams in the stock Yukon housing.
