Usually I'm grinnin from ear-to-ear when I get home and see a package from "the Geek", but today's order was met with some mixed emotions.

Seems like "the Geek" and UPS could have done a little better ...

For the Good Part (Most of the stuff was intact).....

obviously it was the carrier ... as no box leaves the warehouse like this and always packed well. That looks like a sumo wrestler bounced all over it. Call Jason or Meghan or Dwayne tomorrow, and sure you will be taken care of, and I suggest a little complaint to UPS on your driver/delivery man/woman. This should not have been left like that without a damage in transit ticket on it from UPS.

The brush might regain its composure once let out of the plastic but the gallon looks a little shy. (little humor, as needed)

Not good, my order came today too. My box looked about like that one and had a little dampness but it did smell good..lol.. I guess ups was busy over the weekend.:D:

I've ordered from AutoGeek several times, without an issue. I'm sure they will make good on it.

My UPS person has it in for me .. My last call to the district office caused me to beg for (2) weeks for a package pickup

Maybe all the UPS folks had a 4th of July party with the packages in transit :D

Give us a call in the morning.... we will take care of you. Nice of UPS to leave upside down on your porch! We will deal with them, you just give us a call so we can take care of you!

same here too, ups had to repack and few items were missing their excuse was it rained on package

I'm going to disagree here. Autogeek packs everything so well, I can't see how the ups driver can loosen a cap/s from moving the box around a few times.

I had trouble with just the couple orders I had placed. The caps were lose. The wg products I received had a seal under the cap which is good however, the seals wasn't sealed!

Autogeek needs to come up with a good way to seal these caps, or at least make sure they are tight.

Sorry for the negitve post but, I do perfer ordering my good's from Autogeek. They ship out the same day and has great service!

All of our packers tighten every cap before packing orders, it is our packing policy. On top of that any item that is know for having the possibility to loosen in transit get a "cap strip" put on them to help keep the cap sealed tightly. Accidents do happen, especially when you are shipping chemicals, we do our best to make sure they don't but no humanly way possible to insure 100% arrive perfect. But we do stand by our shipments and insure them incase of damage. Just give us a call and you will be taken care of promptly.
Thank you.;)

I used to work for UPS as a truck loader, belt supervisor and driver. Take it from me, it's not Autogeek's fault. You would be suprised how guy load and unload packages, and not to mention packages get wedged or jammed on conveyor belts.

The way I looked at it was, Autogeek packs everything very good that there is no way a cap can loosen. If the ups guys are not handling the package with some care then I suppose a cap can loosen.

lol thats funny. I've seen first hand how UPS and USPS handles their boxes and its unbelievable. I'm surprised most of my orders from various places have been intact. AG does the best packaging I've seen, gotta love those package peanuts :)

never had a problem with AG.packing. I landscape ups in salisbury they treat me pretty good.:iagree:

I think it's obvious the carrier is more likely to be at fault when it comes to package damage. AG is a smaller company who has gone out of thier way to create a solid customer base who are loyal to them. Not only does it hurt their image, it cost them to replace the order even if the carrier pays for the damaged products. Rarely have I seen a company go out of their way to the extent of AG to keep us folks happy.

i used to prefer to ship ups since they are mostly teamsters represented but i have received several badly damaged packages from ups. it seems like they are so busy that they throw and go. i have never however had a problem with fed ex or any of my orders from ag!

My orders always come very nicely packaged in perfect condition----and Meghan is right, AG puts a piece of tape over anything that could loosen up and leak. No issues here! They will always take care of you too!!!

just got my package today and i noticed that AG taped over the cap of my gallon of APC+ and packaged everything well.

Thanks AG, thats why i always come to you guys for my supplies, another A+ :)

And thanks Max for the DP QD ;) will put it to good use

Quick follow-up .. spoke with the team at AG, and they agreed to replace the APC+ .. No Charge .. A-OK with me !

First thing I did when I got my package was open and smell all the products...I was surprised that some of them did not have a seal cap on them...I am sure that helps keep the product cost down! But everything was packaged nice and tight and with care.

I know a lot of UPS ppl and here horror stories a lot! Someone must of had a bad day at UPS!
