Whatcha all wearing these days ?? Dont tell me about the fashionable ones only, I dont need/want to look hip with DG emblems and huge oversized lenses. I want eye protection that can handle the Florida sun and UV rays.

I should note for the last 10 years I have worn Revo's and still have a pair or two. I love polarized lenses but looking to add something to my collection. I recently got a set of Oakleys and tossed to wifey. Anyone wear Kaenon ?? Maui Jim ?? I have heard nice things but want real experiences.

Maui Jim's have the best lenses IMHO. Awesome for driving. Great glare cutters--especially here in Texas. Look to spend at least $170. Cannot bang 'em around though--at least the wire templed ones I have. If you do ruin them, Maui Jim will give a full replacement for $60.

Maui Jims all the way, I have my first pair, got them as a gift last October and they are the best. The glare they kill alone will get me to wear them forever, but most importantly they fit very nicely!

COSTA DEL MAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God, these are literally my favorite thing I own. I love them more than my truck lol (maybe not ;) )

Definatly give these things a shot, you wont be sorry.

I saw/held Maui Jims while in the islands a few weeks ago on a cruise and I wasn't impressed:confused:. Maybe I didn't see the whole line.

Most Definitely Costa Del Mar! My Havana's are just AMAZING! My set ran me over $180. Very Good Quality! Excellent for driving, fishing, and Perfect for bright days in summer and the winter! :D

Damn, I sound like an advertisement! lol

Oliver peoples have been great, durable look great, one of my favorites so far
I wear the nitro's

Ray-Bans for me. Been wearing them since my college days in the mid-90's. Just recently changed frame styles and went to a polarized lens. Wow what a difference. Makes my dash always look like it was freshly detailed!

Tried Some Oakley blades and some Wiley-x in the past. Both seemed to lack the durability the Ray-Bans have. I'm pretty abusive though.

Been seriously thinking about trying the Tagg Heur that are for night driving.

Have to agree with Brandon1 on this one...Costa Del Mars.

I put my Oakleys in my wife's car once I put the Costa's on. My buddy's wife works for an eye Dr. and I got an incredible discount on an incredible pair of sun glasses. You really should give their line a shot.

I've got to go with Ray Ban as well. Quality of the optics is excellent. I recently bought a pair of amber colored glasses with polarization. Glare is significantly reduced. My only complaint is that with polarized lenses, looking through some tint films causes a moiree pattern (caused by two pieces of polarized materials that are not alligned). Sorry, hard to explain, but google moiree if needed.

I've had only polarized lenses for the last 18 or so years. I couldn't imagine going back to non-polarized unless it was to a new / better technology.

I'm about to get my first pair of prescription sunglasses and I'll either go with Smith or I have also been looking at the Costa del Mar line.

It's not that my vision is that bad (20/25 LOL!) but it just really bothers me when things are not crisp. I find it fatiguing.

Gotta agree with the Costa Del Mars!!! Have them and a pair of Oakleys both polarized. Costa is alot better quality and fit. My Oakleys are now moved to yard work protection duty. If anything make sure you get polarized. Its night and day difference.

OCEAN WAVES! I spend a lot of time on the water and these are the best glare cutters around. I beat the cra* out of glasses and my prescription Nassau's have outasted four pairs of clear ones. They are expensive ($500 single prescription) but worth it. Looking for a new pair now.
The Costa's are also nice
