Need Help With Product & Procedure

The sip will be inbetween M105 and 106FF. I use the 5.5 pads all the time on the rotary and the 4 inch pads in tight areas. I do not use anything bigger than 5.5 on the pc, its just a waste of time with anything bigger than a 5.5 on a pc is a waste of time. I would do a 50/50 wipe down after polishing to make sure you removed all the defects-50/50=IPA/water. Then when you are done with your final polishing go to your wax or sealant. I would practice a little more with the foamed wool. You do not need to use alot with the products you have. A few peasize dabs of the Menzerna and M105 is all you need. Once again you just need to practice a little more and you should be good.

what do you think of the end results? Not bad from what it looked like before.

Maybe it's me . . . but when you use just a couple of pea size dabs it doesn't even seem like there is any product, or maybe its just because the car is white. So a tiny bit a product a tiony bit of mist on the pad . . . i just misted a tiny bit of water to lubricate it and i was on my way. i think i been using to much product then. GOod to know i can use a little less.

Yes it does look better, full sun shots would make it easier to see though. Just a little will go along way, sounds like you are getting the hang of it so just keep going and you should end up with the results you want.

Don't get me wrong it was really sunny . . . . everytime i grabbed the camera it got a little less sunny, but it was sunny and boiling. Can't seem to get good pics.

i guess you need to practice taking pics also-lol. I am not any good at it either.

not to go off topic, but instead of me creating a new one . . . quick question since it still involves polishing.

what is a good polish for these rims or one's like it? They are: 1-Piece Forged Alloy Polished. Polished rims get marred real quick. Any tips on caring for rims of this sort?

I like the P21S soap polish just for upkeep and then I either use Mothers or Adams metal polish.
