Good Deal on Ultimate Quik Detailer®

Went to Walmart 7/18 (Friday night) and purchased Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer for about $9.50.

Went 7/19 to return some towels and wash mits, noticed the Ultimate Detailer was reduced to about $1.50-Mike

To be clear, are you saying the price dropped by $1.50 or the price was reduced to $1.50.

Price no object, what is everyone's opinion of the product compared to some of the other items available on AG? I mainly ask because I am finishing up a bottle of the Meg Ultimate and was trying to decide if I want to switch. If it matters, I currently use P21S 100% Carn. and cleaner.

You should try Souveran Spray Wax, Four Star Spray Wax with Polycharger, and Optimum Quick Detailer and Gloss Enhancing Spray as possible.

Ran to my local Walmart in Cary, NC and unfortunately regular price. So looks like it is location specific. I guess the good news is I can try some of the other recommendations without buyers remorse!
 
ran by my walmart as well but no luck... still 9.47 ugh

Sorry, My local Walmart in Holly Springs, NC had it for $1.50-Mike

I didn't even notice you are in Holly Springs. For those that don't know, that is a stones throw from Cary.

Now I'm back to the dilemma, drive there for a good and cheap product or test new recommendations.

Decisions, Decisions...
 
I would get the UQD for $1.50 when you run then test new stuff. I have a list I want to try but I really don't see the need when Meg M135 (similar if not the exact same as UQD) can be picked up locally and in a gallon size for a great price.
I went to local Walmart to get the UQD and it was $9.50 my luck

We usually never get any good deals at all in Cary.
