I am new to the Auto Geek Family, I have been detailing for about 7 or 8 years for friends and family etc.... I have always founf Meguiars products to be the best, but now that I have up my game, I am begining to wonder?? What is really the best Wax, Sealants,Polymer Sealant? Never really cared for Polishes...I have read allot here on this site. Pinnacle, Wolfgang. Are these products really superior to Meguiars? Please let me know.....it drives me nuts thinking that there are better products on the Market and me not using them !! I have to have the Best of the Best...........please help...lol........Feed back please

It all depends on the person.ull see alot of people still use the meguiars mirror glaze line during there details.it all really comes down 2 personal prefrence and wat u want from ur product.

That answer was about clear as mud, I want the best results......the best deepest mirror like shine that out performs and gets that second look from people......The WOW factor..........I use the Tech Wax 2.0 allot...is Wolfgang 3.0 or pinnacle better........we all here need to just come to one conclusion.......I know there are allot of factors to be taken into considration( condition of paint and etc..) but, when all that has been done and the dust has cleared ( no pun intented ) what product is the cream of the crop? Thank you for your reply, although you didn't recommend a product........ Shine On.....

you need about another 1-2 weeks of thorough reading. Too many opinions on what's the best of the best. Go to the Autogeek online store and find Fuzion wax. Is it better than NXT 2.0? yes. Do you want to pay that much for wax? up to you?

Can you give your car that "mirror like shine" without polishing with a machine? NO, you can not.

read, read, search, read read...then get out your credit card : )

It all comes down to personal preference .. truly. As a former Megs and Mothers user (remember their 3 step system) I would offer some of my personal favs.

wax = Pinnacle
polishes = Menzerna
sealants = Four Star, Wolfgang, Zaino

It is about personal preference, but there are some products that are better than others, especially when polish is concerned.

Wendell,

You want a quick and easy reply.

I've used every wax in my 30+ years of waxing (10+detailing), and
yes these products are better.

Wow factor equates to about a minimum of 8 hours (takes me 12-14).

You do need to polish--pick a product--I like all Pinnacle Products--
and apply all with a buffer (random).

Thanks and have fun!

Perfect, I don't feel alone anymore, LOL.

Getting any car to have that WOW factor will take a ton of knowledge that will come only with experience and will require an effort that the average person might not put into a daily driver , but reserve for a show car. Not saying you can't make that sedan in the driveway a diamond in the rough but after finding out what it will actually require to maintain that WOW factor you may re-think your goals. Like other posters have mentioned , read,read,read, and then practice,practice,practice. Ask plenty of questions and the members on here will gladly share with you their wealth of knowledge.
:welcome: Paul

LOL We are all in this family. But seriously you have received some great advice. You came to the right forum, now read about the products. You will then have some questions and we would all have no problem answering them for you!!
