I have been having an issue with getting all the dirt out of my carpeted floormats. Been using Folex and CSC to varying success. I sprayed lightly with Folex, scrubbed and then rinsed with strong stream of water. Passenger mat was good, but more abused driver's mat still showing some dirt. Sprayed liberally with ARO, let is sit for a few minutes, and scrubbed with stiff brush. Lots of suds and it appeared to be working. When I hit it with the hose, WOW!!!!!! I could see dirt rolling off the edges of the mat, looked like when you wash nicotine stains off a white wall. It looks clean now, and I think I used way too much cleaner. With the amount of suds, I could have got away with half as much as I did. Will this hurt my carpets in the long run??
