Who cares about carnauba durability anyways? I have yet to see a carnauba wax that comes anywhere near the beautiful look of a quality synthetic sealant. If anybody else has, please point me in the right direction.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

sometimes i think people get caught up in collecting products and making more work for themselves than they have to...

really, anything else needed as an LSP for the winter other than opti-seal?

opti-seal ftwx1000000000000000000

I voted for the DG 105..its been proven by myself to last thru a New England winter...

I usually just use it alaone ..but have used Collinite 885 over it also for a great bullit proof combo....the wax takes the beating of the elements while the sealant keeps the paint sealed and protected...

my other top winter systems are Klasse twins..and Zaino...

I like the Collinite pastes better as far as Durabilty over the 845 IW

Meg's #16 would be my second choice for a wax as it is very close to Collinite pastes as far as durability and protection..with a mention of Blitz paste wax also..very good wax also...very durable..

Al, how do you tell how long a sealant lasts? Since you can't see it on the paint, how do you know when it has worn off?

Per Al's suggestion at some point earlier in the year, DG105 topped with Collinite 476. Last winter, I used the Klasse twins.
