Just got the products and i couldnt wait so ill be just doing a little bit every day after work till friday when hopefully i can get it out in sun before sealing/waxing. Iknow bad camera and bad clean up before taking picture.
Thanks

Really nice job! I actually just did my Black G35 Coupe a few days ago, spanned it out over a couple of days. I used Poorboy's SSR2.5 and Orange Pads, and then Optimum Polish and White Pads. I was not able to get all of the scratches and out, but the swirls are gone, and most of the hazing is gone. Was your combo of products able to get rid of everything?

your patience will and is paying off .. you got great products and continue to take it slow.

Thanks all for the thumbs ups. not sure that i would have attempted this a few months ago when i bought the car. I knew that it needed to be done But was not really sure what to use and such. So i really want Thank each and every Forum member and the AG personal. I did a bit of lurking before decide what products and such to use. The forum/store website is full of alot of helpful tips and recommendations. videos a major plus.
Thanks

No there were some deeper scratches that i hit by hand with Megs ScratchX which worked with a few passes and passion behind it. I had thought about trying with a 4inch orange maybe yellow but I decided against it thinking that it would be to much heat in one area. I am sure that i will run into more of them. Ill snap a pic if i can get the light in the right spot. There is prolly a better product for this. Any suggestions anyone?
just curious what polisher are you using?
Am using the PC 7424.

Dont worry about burning your paint with pc7424 here's a video

Well I already made the video so here you go.

I have swirls like yours on my dark blue car (some of them already removed) and had no problems with yellow pad, but i did start with orange and less aggressive polisher to test the results.
My pain has metal flakes which were not really visible after my initial pass but show up nicely after finding the right combo. Just remember to get few pads of the same color and switch them out once they become dirty/clogged, and always do 2x2 area till your happy with the results before polishing the whole car.

Great bit of info pyro will definetly keep this in mind as i head out to the garage and get rid of some pesky swirling.
