So a while back I asked a question on here about what the best wax would be for use in a detail shop. I recieved a lot of great suggestions, and decided to go with wolfgang deep gloss sealant, and collinite 845 for a wax. Had a customer come in on friday, he didn't want any polishing done cause he says he doesn't believe in it! All he wanted was some protection for the winter. So I told him about the sealant I just got in and got him excited about trying it. So friday I put on the sealant, yesterday I applied the wax, and holy cow! Wow the gloss from these two products is amazing! If the jeep wasn't scratched up, I would be convinced that it was just polished! Great stuff! here is a few pics

looks good. what do u mean the customer dont believe in polishing? did you give him an example or try to explain to him/her how much better the vehicle will look after a proper polish job

Thanks, yes I told him it would look so much better with a polish but he was very insistent. He told me he has not seen a polish job that wasn't swirled, I think by swirled he was meaning holograms. I explained that if a person knows how to polish, the final results are outstanding. His response was well its a jeep I don't want to spend the money!

well atleast you tried. he probaly only seen polish jobs from hacks dealerships(most) and body shops. which do leave swirls

Guess you have to understand where he's coming from with his "I want to save money" remark. Everybody is cutting corners when possible and if he is satisfied with just protection for his Jeep's paint I would guess a partial detail is better then no detail.
