1. Wash w/ ONR. Used a Megs MF chenelle mitt, 2 bucket method with grit guards and half solution in the rinse bucket. Pre-soaked each panel with ONR at QD strength before washing. Dried with Cobra Guzzler.
2. Clayed using ONR at QD strength and Megs clay bar. Dried again using Cobra Guzzler.
3. Optimum polish on white LC CCS. PC on speed 5. Buffed each panel with a MF bonnet over a LC finishing pad with PC on speed 3.5, then mist with 50/50 IPA and hand buff with Cobra Deluxe Jr.
4. Klasse AIO on grey LC CCS, PC on 4. Applied to one panel at a time and buffed immediately with a Cobra Deluxe Jr. Applied by hand with a foam applicator to mirrors, rear trunk and lower trim. Final buff of entire car with Megs QD and a Cobra Deluxe.
5. Klasse SG on a red LC CCS, PC on 3. Applied to entire car and buffed with Cobra Dexlue Jr. Final buff with Megs QD and Cobra Deluxe.
6. Ate dinner, came on AG to complain about AIO and SG, got drunk, used AIO on my coffee table, went to bed, woke up to 2" of snow.
7. Pinnacle XMT with foam applicator. It was cold and it wasn't hazing up, so I did the whole car in 4 sections and buffed each section by hand with a Cobra Deluxe Jr.
8. Cleaned windows with Stoners IG and applied Klasse AIO to the windshield with a foam applicator.
The front bumper and fascia didn't get any treatment, all I did wash wash it. Also, I haven't done anything with the wheels yet. I will wash the car and wheels tomorrow and apply some wax to the wheels and AIO by hand to the front bumper followed with some Optiumum Gloss Enhancer.
This was my first time to do a IPA wipe down and it sure made it a breeze to wipe off the polish. It also was my first time to use Klasse AIO and SG combo. I was very impressed with the AIO. It seemed to be coming off easily, but then I started seeing some streaking. On a silver car in poor lighting it took a 1/4 bottle and over an hour to make sure all the AIO and SG was buffed off. From what I understand the AIO shouldn't be to tough to remove but it might have been due to it freezing on the surface of the car or machine application. Others say the SG is tough to remove as I experienced. If I had to do it again I would do as has been recommened and either let the AIO sit a while, and mist the SG with water. Or apply the SG directly on top of the AIO to the entire car and buff it all off together. I also would have used a bonnet for the removal, but both of my bonnets were caked from the polish.
I pciked my friend up to go take some pics in the snow. He doesn't have a cover for his close-up lens, so all we got were some shots from a distance. And 1 close up I took in the garage when I got home.
Enjoy.
After taking the pics, I of course had to turn the parking lot into a autocross track and do some snow drifts around the islands.
