Hey guys!!
I'm looking for some advice. I have had a 3M bra on my black C5 since 2002. As you can imagine there is quite a bit of wax build up here and there in the seams of the bra. When I bought the bra it wasn't very common and only precut kits were available. So I have many seams. What would you recommend I use to remove the wax build up on the seams and not damage the film?

Over years of owning a black car I sure have learned a lot about detailing. It seems like everytime if get onto AG I learn something new. I love this place!!Im the MAN

rubber cake spatula (I ditched the handle) and QD

 Do you just run the spatula along the edge?

Would rubbing alcohol hurt the 3m in anyway. I know the film is pretty tough stuff but we are talking about my baby here. :D

Rubbing alcohol will take away your LSP.

just spend the day with a microfibre towel and go along the edges.

you would probably want a really plush mf towel to get right into the seem

Hmmm, easier to picture in my head than to explain on the intarweb...the rubber cake spatula is really pliable, I just QD up the edge and use the round blade part to run along the edge of the clear bra. I use very little pressure mind you and have a MF handy to wipe down both the seam and spatula blade often.

Hmmm, now I'm thinking the spatula wrapped in one of the edgeless MFs would work even better.

I've found that both of these bras are superb--the one with no straps leaves no marks and is easy to work with--Fuzion provides added touch.

Wow...you must have some serious man boobs.

When you've been married 32 years, any boob will do--probably includes you.
