i am new to detail

and i love the thickness of the foam gun provided ( watched on youtube )
and i found that some foam gun wont make a snowing result and the foam wont stick to the paint

so.....please suggest me a good foam gun which is pretty cheap and looks like the video
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8z0y9KPh2U&feature=related]YouTube - Foam Cannon Car Wash[/video]

thankyou

i've heard that the camspray foam gun is really nice but i think its 80 or 90 dollars

That's a foam cannon (attached to a pressure washer)...I have a camspray. A foam "gun" will not do that (attaches to a garden hose)...I have a Gilmour. I like both for different needs, but the one in the photo looks like a CamSpray.

the youtube one is foam cannon ( thats what he said )

so i cant have foam cannon right?? i am using garden hose
all i want is thickness and stick

you can have a foam cannon with a garden hose as long as you have a pressure washer in between :p

Autogeek Quart Foamaster Foam Gun with FREE BONUS Has different settings for the type of foam you want. The model I have doesn't and it still does its job - provide added lubricity when washing.

A foam cannon will cost a minimum of $90 alone, plus a PW which is a lot more than the $10 in your budget.

The #95QGFMR and the #75QGFMR both get good reviews on this board.

As far as I know, Gilmore is pretty much your best bet if you don't have a pressure washer.

If there is a pw cheaper than $100 I probably wouldn't bother getting it. Can't see it lasting too long. The Troy Bilt I would like to have is about $300 - hence why I haven't bought it.

The only cordless "pressure washer" I know of is made by Nomad Nomad 12 Volt Auto Cord Portable Power Cleaner - Buy Direct -Wash, clean, spray, rise or mist all of your gear - clothing, shoes and more at picnics, tailgate parties, soccer games and sports events but a foam cannon would obviously not fit it. It is more used for light cleaning rather than car washing.

Like a gas powered pressure washer? Check local classified ads for used PWs. I still doubt you'll find one that'll fit your budget though.

What do you like about a foam lance compared to a foam gun? When you really think about it, the foam lance doesn't have any functional benefits over the Gilmore. There isn't any magic with the foam lance, it just makes washing look cool. Both are a pre-rinse type products that add lubricity to the washing step to reduce the chances of marring. I haven't seen any proof that a foam lance makes washing safer than a foam gun.

A foam lance (or foam cannon) will make foam that will cling to the paint better due to the added pressure. Now whether or not that is really that important I don't know. I just plan on using a foam gun since good pressure washers are so expensive.

One thing a foam gun can do that a foam cannon/lance cannot (or atleast not very easily) is the foam gun can replace your wash bucket by spraying the foam on the car and then go over that with your wash mitt/sponge/whatever all over the car. Some people believe that consistent flow of clean wash aids in preventing marring. Doing this with a cannon or lance would be difficult because its foam is almost too foamy (very little water consistency) so washing with that foam may not be a good idea.

I have a question. Is it possible to use a foam gun such as a Gilmour in conjunction with a water filtration system like the CRSpotless?

One has brass fittings and a slide ratio adustment, the other is plastic and has a dial, they are both adjustable, so I'm not sure what you're asking. I don't thing they make one that is NOT adjustable.
