Surfer, wow you really do hate Vettes. What did they do to make you dislike them so much?
 
Surfer really races a Geo Metro with Viper badges. He recorded Viper engine sounds and plays them loud in his car to feel better.

haha vette thing is all good fun. We have a modded C4 and C6Z, mother/boyfriend, not me :D. Had an 01' ACR that was modded, but had a boo boo about this time last year with a teen who decided to turn at the wrong moment. I like raw, brutal, cars ala Viper, me no need no stinkin traction control and anti save your butt gizmos, or cup holders haha. But been so busy with biz haven't had time for cars, I barely can detail anymore. So I come over there once in awhile to borrow one or the other, forced to drive the tupperware :D . I'll have another snake, after really seeing the new orange, I think I'll get an orange with black stripes 08', I didn't like it until I finally saw some good pics of that color. But I almost drove the C4 off the cliff the other day after the hood latch almost took my finger off.

I saw Surfer in his Geo last week. He was bitten by the snake and he's still trying to hold on to his Viper memories. You need to let it go and move on Surfer. It’s just a Geo. If you’re nice I’ll let you set in my ACR.

Hey did you get my pm on your truck. Check the tstat bolts, buggers seized on mine. Had to have a friend use heat and drill them out after breaking, carefull to so didn't damage the intake manifold. Stupid Ford doesn't use antiseize on their steel bolts, which with aluminum heads = seized.

And don't tell me your vettes hood latch didn't attempt to take your finger off, who the hell designed that lol.

I have never had to do anything mechanical to my truck yet. I have not had a problem with the hood latch on any of my vettes. It must be a Surfer thing. I have had to adjust the hood latches on my current Viper.
