BIG TRUCK!

I only had 6-8 inches of room to spare getting this truck in the shop...really made working on the front and back difficult.

Products and tool used:

-Gold Class car soap
-APC
-APC+
-Wheel Brightner
-Hot Rims Chrome polish
-Hyper Dressing
-M40
-Meguiars Glass Cleaner
-PlastX
-Last Touch
-Mild Clay
-Folex
-LGM
-Various brushes
-New DA approved M105 on the rotary with a wool pad
-M205 on the rotary with a foam polishing pad
-M205 on the FLEX 3401 with a finishing pad
-Wolf Gang DGPS 3.0

It was dark when the truck showed up and I didn't want to let all the heat out of the shop just to take before pics. Prior to washing, the truck was cover in lots of dirt and salt...

I was pretty rushed on time, so pics are not the best.

Some afters

The damp looking spot on the carpet was from an air freshener that I had just sprayed. ;)

Rasky, As I have said before I dig your work, you know what youre doing (plus you give some good write ups too) Nice job......

You should remind the owner it would'nt kill him to stop at one of those vacuums once in a while and drop a couple of quarter in it and make an attempt to keep the rugs a little cleaner between your work on it. Man, they were terrible.

weathertech type mats are a necessity in a truck!

nice turn around man! looks great...

my dad has a similarly sized crew cab long bed. it's literally like parking (and turning) a limo...

great work man, that grey metallic looks awesome. outside pics like that make me appreciate working in Florida

I've got them throughout my truck and cargo area. Every truck we've had had them, its mandatory.....or should be :D

Nice job on the truck, thought it was a buddies for a sec till I saw the customer pic, same truck, interior and snow lol

Thanks guys!

I'll be sure and tell him about the matts ;)

Snow/cold FTL!

Very nice! Can you give us your impressions on M205? I have not had a chance to use it yet...hopefully I can try it out tomorrow!

M205 is definitely my go to polish now. It's very easy to use, it has a long work time, but not as long as M80. I also have not seen any micro marring with a DA like you could get with M80 when it was not worked long enough. There is no dusting, which is a big thing to me. It works similar to Menz PO85RD, and finishes off just as good, maybe even a little better IMO. It also seems to have slightly more cut than the PO85, and I think it wipes off easier too.

Dave KG over at Detailingworld did and excellent review of M205, I think I posted it on another thread. ;)

The new M105 seems to be a lot more user friendly, and those who only have a DA will love it! :righton:

I'll have to look up Dave KG's review. Sounds like a real winner, I'm picking up a new daily tonight which I'll be detailing tomorrow, so I got a bottle of 205 here to play around with.

Awesome! Let me know what you think of it. ;)
