Just curious... what are the main and biggest differences in something like the hotrod, compared to something like the little green machine proheat? Obviously there ARE differences, but whats the main ones? I would imagine hotter water, bigger storage and solution tanks.... anyone know?

I being a hobbyist and not doing details for money, thought about getting a little green machine for personal use, since it is obviously quite a bit cheaper. But if the hotrod can do that much of a better job, I have always been a sucker for upgrading!

You imagined correct! Those are the main differences. The LGM is designed for the average home user, therefore its easy for someone to use safely. The Aztec is far more rugged in build terms. It gets water up to a higher temperature. Also I've almost burnt my hand a few times with the Aztec as the water hose gets very hot as well anything connected with the water system. Its not a big danger, but the tool is not home user friendly.

a lot more PSI
a lot more lift
longer hoses
larger tanks
larger tool head


The LGM is pretty good for a weekend warrior, but it won't touch the larger extractors like this.

Don't trade in that G of yours. :cheers: Question about it. Why did you not get one with the Sport Package? Both of the G's I had had the Sport Package. The last one I had ('05 w/ 6 speed), I traded it in for the '08 Mazda 3s Grand Touring Hatchback. Miss that darn '05.

I have the sport wheels. The sport seats didn't fit me right. The side support put pressure on my thighs. I have everything else offered in the car except the sport seats. It's a X(all wheel drive), not that I drive it in the snow. But if I had too I couldrops: It's a 2008 with 1200 miles on it.

I dont have an Aztec, but I would charge roughly the same as you have been. That is if you have been cleaning carpets and such. Just think about how long it would have taken you before and stick with that rate. You are still cleaning the same stuff, just now, better and easier. Its probably gonna make it easier for you to give discounted prices to the good customers because its gonna be easier now.

Well, wait until you see my NEXT vehicle that I will use my new Aztec on. It's a '90s Honda Accord Sedan. The person who owns it is now in the hospital with not much time left. His family wants to sell the vehicle BUT, it needs to not smell like cig smoke. The guy smoked inside that car every single time he was in it. No one else really rode inside it. Once I pick it up this afternoon, I will take perfore pics and place them in the Show N Shine forum. It will take about two days to work on this thing and good thing I can't SMELL any longer. LMAO They all hate to get near this vehicle.
